My husband and I were so grateful that Jon and Ann accepted our last minute reservation! After a slew of events at our previous location, we needed new scenery to wrap up our long weekend away. From the moment we arrived, peace washed over us as sounds of nature are abundant. The view from our site was spectacular as we watched the moon rise and the stars come out. This experience beckoned us to come back so we could explore the area!

Woodbury Meadows is a perfect spot for bike packers. I've stayed with them three years in a row for a seasonal tour through the NEK and look forward to our last night there every year. Thanks for being great hosts!

Great campsite. Highly recommend!! If you’re looking for a nice campsite for a VT trip this should be a great fit for your group. Plenty of space and nice bathrooms and showers.

Our family of 5 tent camped on glamp site 3. Beautiful and peaceful views in a serene VT location. Jon & Anne were wonderful hosts and provided great suggestions for outdoor activities in the area. Running water, sink, and shade- as well as a great grill made for a fun few nights in the mountains. Bathrooms were incredibly clean and tidy, and recently renovated. We plan to come back again soon!

We ended up not staying, but Jon was most helpful and accommodating. We left a vehicle while we rode the GMGG and had a much needed shower after we finished.

We had a great time on Jon & Ann's site - the facilities were clean and functional, the wifi is strong, the area is quiet, safe and pleasant to stay in, it's an easy 20-minute drive to Montpelier and we even got some good birding advice! The swimming pond is about a 30-minute walk away and there's also good kayaking spot right next to the site. Recommended!

We stayed at this campground for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The sites are very clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful scenery - the natural setting is incredibly relaxing. Everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay: spacious sites, a canopy over the picnic table, water access, and a grill. The bathhouse was exceptionally clean. It’s just a 15-minute drive to the most scenic part of the LVRT, which makes this campground a perfect base for hiking and biking. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Jon & Ann's property didn't disappoint. Was a little hard to tell what we were coming to for the first time based on pics but it was perfect. Enough partial shade with a level pad for our 24' trailer....and the bath house was just perfect and well maintained. The wifi was super strong and reliable ta boot! Jon's a heck of a fellow and we got to swap great experiences with him while we were there.

Really enjoyed my stay in the Meadow site. I would happily park in any of the available sites but the extra privacy in the meadow was a real treat. The road is pretty close and some of the traffic that goes by can be a bit loud but there isn't much of it even at peak and it drops off to nothing in the evening and overnight.
Jon and Ann are such welcoming and friendly hosts. Really appreciated having access to the bathhouse and the bonus of a laundry. Will definitely stay again.

Jon and Ann were amazing and were so kind. Jon helped us back into the spot and they both explained what was in the surrounding area + the ins and outs of the property on arrival. Their property was stunning with amazing views! A swimming spot was within walking distance and the roads we walked along to get there were beautiful with waterfalls along the road. Bathrooms were clean and very nice. Shower was hot, hot! We would completely recommend this camp site and will definitely return.

You don't want to miss this one. We arrived wet and dirty after biking in the rain, and Woodbury Meadows had us covered. (literally!) The "glamp site" had a canopy over the picnic table, a wooden platform we could put our tent on, a sink with water right at the site, electricity for charging our phones, and more. Tha bathroom/shower was wonderful (a bit of a walk from the site but worth it), and we were even able to wash our icky clothes (donation based washer and dryer).
Jon is an excellent host and made sure we were all set.
The place itself is really beautiful and peaceful. At night we heard frogs peeping and owls hooting.

This campsite was really cute, and extremely well maintained. There are two bathrooms and they look brand new. It’s easy to find, and the site was easily big enough for a car and large tent to fit on the grass. The covered picnic table was great for the rain, and they had a light and place to charge phones. I would definitely stay for at least a few days if I end up coming back to vermont. The only negative that I noticed was that sites 2 and 3 are so close together that you can hear everything they say, but with quiet neighbors it wasn’t too bad. The road noise was almost nothing after dark.

We loved our stay. Hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming. Campground has all the amenities you could ask for, and they are nice and clean. The area around the site is beautiful, and I can recommend it to anyone going to Vermont.

We had a peaceful and private stay, with everything we needed right on site. The campsite had water, power, a picnic table, and even a Solo Stove for a campfire, with firewood available for purchase on the property, which was super convenient.
One of the standout features was the facilities: two very clean bathrooms that felt more like someone’s home than a campground. They were spotless, well maintained, and never crowded. The shower was proper (no coins, no timers!), and while we didn’t use the washer and dryer, it was a nice bonus to have those available.
A quiet, well-thought-out place to recharge — we’d happily stay again.

This may be the best campground I have ever stayed at. It was very clean, well kept and quiet. A good value. There are 4 unique sites at Woodbury Meadows. We #4, the hammock site. There were ample trees for hanging hammocks. Two friends were in a camper van and there was an ample level spot for that.
Our site had a canopy and a sink with running water right at the site. The bathrooms are new with free hot showers. There is a laundry room with new appliances and a donation jar, no coin slides!!!
We were on the Green Mountain Gravel Growler bicycle tour and we took advantage all of these amenities. The campground is conveniently located along the tour. There was another group of Gravel Growlers in #3, the Glamping site, which had a nice deck where we shared stories.
When we first rolled into the campground Jon was there to greet us. He saw our dirty bikes and got a hose out for us to clean up the bikes. The campground is on a very quiet dirt road

So well maintained and well thought out space and amenities. Conveniently located - not TOO remote, but also enough space to hear the full symphony of nature - frogs singing, owls chattering, mourning doves as a wake-up call, etc. Jon and Ann are so kind, accommodating, and communicative. Be a decent human and tend to the space you’re in (pack in, pack out) and enjoy some really beautiful natural space!

We have had an awesome time at Jon and Ann’s Hip Camp. The view is absolutely amazing. They are the most lovely people and their little community is delightful. The camps are easy to navigate and the shower house and the restroom are immaculately clean and the showers are super hot with great pressure. We loved staying here and even got to camp in a little snow just before their season ended. There is so much to do in the area. The nature is breathtaking and the Hip Camp is set between two charming and historic towns with great shops, bakeries and restaurants and historic sights and museums. We really hope to be back again soon.

We spent three nights at Jon & Ann’s property while we explored different parts of Vermont, and we absolutely loved it. Sites are nice and private and there is also a lovely community feel at this small campground—the best of both worlds. Jon and Ann are wonderful hosts and had lots of recommendations for things to do both nearby and on the property—we enjoyed a walk to their nearby pond one morning, for example. As for amenities, we couldn’t have asked for better—theirs was the most beautiful bathhouse we’ve seen! Highly recommend this lovely, thoughtfully designed place.

Jon came out to help us guide the camper into the spot we left two days early due to the cold and rain , but enjoyed the hot showers I was impressed on how clean everything was wish we could have explored the land …. Maybe next time

My husband, dog, and I stayed for a night while road tripping to see the leaves change color. We were using our pop up camper and were grateful for the sink that was on-site. They also had a pop up tent staked out over a picnic table for us. There were also chairs and a fire site. There was a steep grade to get to the spots but our small suv was fine handling it while backing in the trailer. We had a lovely time here. On the drive out I noticed streams running down the mountain waking distance from the camp. Note: AT&T cell service is 1 bar at best but the wifi worked great!

Great campsite, loved the electricity and water directly on site. Had a couple hiccups and Jon was there in a timely manner to help us with anything. The bathrooms and showers were great and very clean. Would definitely come back here for another hiking trip in Vermont.
