Wilderness Pond Cabin
We loved staying at Wilderness Pond Cabin! It was a last-minute change in plans for the July 4th holiday, due to weather predicted during the long weekend. We were SO happy to find this listing. Bruce was very responsive & welcoming & booking was a breeze. Getting to the cabin was straightforward & marked. Bruce met us soon after arrival to see if we needed anything & share general info on the area & things to do. He provided firewood & info on how we can access water just down the road. The property is beautiful, serene & peaceful. The cabin/grounds/outhouse are all just as listed & are pristine. My husband & I were comfortable & the torrential rains that came one morning were EXACTLY the reason why we chose this! We visited Sunset Lake & Lake St. Catherine SP & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I hope to visit again soon & recommend others to pick this cabin if it suits your needs. You will NOT be disappointed.

Wilderness Pond Cabin
Quiet, private, beauty, and birds!
We loved our stay at Wilderness Pond Cabin. This is a perfect fit for us. The cabin is recently built and beautiful. The cabin is a driveup about 2000' back from the road. Beautiful views of surrounding hills and the Book Brothers farm on the way up the hill through the hay fields to the cabin. We loved the total privacy and quiet. Bruce stocked the woodpile near the fire ring so there was more than plenty. We had 25 species of birds on a morning walk. We'd return in a heartbeat and likely will. Thank you, Bruce.

Wilderness Pond Cabin
Absolutely Perfect
This cabin, the outhouse, and the grounds were pristine! We would absolutely stay here again. Bruce went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He brought us strawberries from his garden one afternoon and once when he saw us picking wildflowers, he came over and told us we could all shower in his other property if we wanted to. He’s so kind and friendly! The cabin is very secluded. You can only *barely* hear road noise occasionally. Most of what you will hear is the pleasantly noisy frogs in the beautiful pond. We absolutely loved it here and will come back!

Wilderness Pond Cabin
Private and quiet, loved it!!
This cozy cabin is the only the only site on 1500 acres and I loved it! It is mostly quiet. I like places were you don’t get much noise from nearby roads and this certainly had that. It was very early in the season and Bruce supplied us with a propane heater that really helped warm us up in the morning. I highly recommend this site if you enjoy privacy, close to the pond and a fire ring.
