Historic, quintessential VT farmstead on 38 private acres at the end of a quiet dirt road. The Slate Valley Trails pass through our property - providing direct access to 50+miles of world-class mountain biking and hiking trails. We are located mid-point in the network at a perfect jumping off point for adventure. There are also miles and miles of quiet dirt roads and abandoned forest tracks in the area, offering near endless opportunities for gravel cycling adventures. The property features perennial gardens, a pond, open meadows, forestland, and picturesque southerly views from the top of the north meadow. The tent, van and glamping sites are thoughtfully located in protected nooks in the forestland and along the forest's edge. We have hot outdoor showers (3) and a handmade wooden building that houses our portable toilets. There is also a communal fire pit.

lovely basecamp for adventures
This was our second time staying at the trail house and I'm sure we'll be back. It's such a lovely tranquil environment -- Hardy and Caitrin are great hosts and really make sure that guests have what they need. Our group was there to mountain bike, and being right at the trailhead when you wake up is sooo nice. I imagine hikers would enjoy it quite a bit too. Next time we will have to be there for pizza night.

Happy Camping with a 14 month old!
Wonderful place to camp and ride the Slate Valley Trails. The Bathhouse and bathrooms were clean, and comfortable and well thought out! We had the best time and will definitely return!

Bell Tent
What a beautiful farm and small campground. The Bell tent was spacious and the beds very comfortable. The showers and bathrooms were super clean and tidy. The 40+ miles of mountain biking trails were amazing. Caitrin and Hardy were great hosts!

Amazing peaceful spot!
Amazing find for our recent stay for the Slate Valley Epic! Caitrin and Hardy were great hosts at this gem with hot showers, rest room facilities, and tidy camping spots. Looking forward to returning soon! Be sure to book your stay during a pizza night - you won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t been mt. Biking @ Slate Valley - check out their amazing trails!

Beautiful Property!
This Hipcamp was a nice surprise. We have never to Vermont but I'm so glad we made this stop! The grounds were well maintained. Showers and toilets were exceptionally clean. Each stall (shower and toilet area) was large enough to change in as well. The showers have hot water. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay here again!
