Louella's land was a true gift that far surpassed our expectations. Not only was our camping spot incredible with superb mountain views across a field, but it was also flat, grassy, newly mowed, stocked with just enough dry wood for the night's fire, a modern ring fire pit, and was close walking access to a solar powered hot shower!!!! Louella met us upon arrival, eggs in hand which we had ordered in advance, and she was a welcoming, warm and ready to chat about her farm, the history of the camp, etc. In the evening we were so lucky to have a lightning bug display in our field the likes of which we have never seen before - literally thousands and thousands of the glowing magical bugs, we just stood and watched in amazement. We will most certainly be back again next time we are in the Burlington area. We highly highly recommend Louella's!!!!

I very much enjoyed my spur of the moment overnight stay at Louella’s property. I was able to have a great conversation with her and she was very warm and welcoming. Porto potty was very clean as well. Very quiet property with beautiful views of Mt. Mansfield. Will definitely book again for future trips

This site is unbelievably great. I've been here twice and have already booked a third time. The amount of space, the privacy, the view. Great for groups. Louella is an excellent host with more firewood and well water right up the road. Hot outdoor shower is an excellent bonus.

Pride Rock at Harold's View Farm
We loved this stop! We stayed at Pride Rock in entrance 1 and the view was incredible. We used the hot shower provided (it was so cool!) and were given a fire pit with fire wood for the stay. Highly recommend for an off the grid experience!!

I loved tent camping at Harold’s View Farm in Vermont. The view of the rolling hills was beautiful and the sites were plenty spacious with new fire pit and picnic table. I got a chance to use the hot shower as well.

We had a lovely stay and would come back again! The view is beautiful (even on a rainy weekend — the clouds over the mountains were enchanting and the view so lush), and we had a really nice tromp around the land. Louella was a friendly host and we enjoyed learning some of the history of the farm. The cabin is not well insulated, so cold weather made it chilly, but we expected this and brought lots of blankets. And Louella's hen's eggs were delicious, would recommend!

What a gorgeous property and tent site! The views were beautiful, the Hemlock tent was so clean and comfortable, we had a nice fire at night and enjoyed walking around. We can’t wait to come back!

Harold’s View stands out as a destination camp spot in rural Vermont for its breathtaking vistas and comfortable offerings. For starters, the tent was very roomy, nicely appointed and remained dry for the duration of our time there. We were able to set up our dogs’ crate by the opening and still had enough room to get in & out easily. Memory foam thick mattress was comfy, while warm blanket & extra comforter kept the chill from the 40* night air at bay. Water for washing up & shower was piping hot! Porta was a short walk up the gravel road away from the campsite. Little extras, such as all-in-one soap/shampoo, towels, tissues, wipes, etc were appreciated.
Things to know: stay on the gravel road as you drive to the site & park, especially if it’s been raining. A small run off to the right is deceptively deep & feeds into the pond. Also, if you’re traveling with dogs, best to let the hosts know in advance.

Beautiful cozy comfy cabin right in driving distance to Burlington, the view of the mountain was stunning and the hostess is also very sweet and accommodating (sorry if we were rowdy Louella!) the shower was very nice and hot and the puppy was very cute. Can't wait to visit again for a more relaxing time!

We LOVED car camping here! It was late October, so definitely chilly, but amazing! The view was stunning of the field and mountains. Site was clean and secluded. We could see the stars and it was super peaceful! They left firewood for us too 😊 we will definitely be back when we visit VT again! Such a unique camping experience!

Madine's site was gorgeous. Could not have asked for a better view. It felt very private. Louella was so nice, provided great directions and we really appreciated the opportunity to buy her farm fresh eggs. We already thinking about when we can return.
