Greenhope Farm is a rustic homestead located in Westmore Vermont home of Lake Willoughby , the Willoughby State Forest and Wheeler Mountain protected wilderness area. Our 26 acres sits looking at Wheeler Mnt and the Willoughby Gap We have horses fon the property organic garden spring fed clear deep swimming/kayaking pond Right above the pond sits our new post and beam rental site It is off grid but you can drive most of the way in. There is a spring and the pond for water. Also the main house and barn are nearby and supply drinking water There is an outdoor fire pit at the cabin plus a wood stove. It can sleep 3and there is room for a tent in the adjacent area We offer an outdoor composting toilet area and also access to the main house. It is a transformational spot above the pond with privacy and unsurpassed views of the eastern mountains and gaps. The sunrise there is beyond spectacular Enjoy the photos. Prices vary on length of stay season and number of campers. We have lodging in the main farmhouse cottage as well. You can rent the two bedroom house with Kitchen and spacious living room and deck. Great views of the mountains and all the comforts of home and technology. There is a pup there ( The Gap) and also a fancy restaurant ( The Willoughvale) There is much to see and do in this gorgeous area famous for spectacular foliage displays and winter sports

We had a fabulous time at this cozy, charming little cabin! The host was amazing offering to heat up our cabin as we were headed up that way! We will definitely be back!

Cabin was just as expected! We arrived late at night and Sallie was very communicative and responsive, helping us arrive safely. We were only able to see a bit of the pond in the early morning before having to hit the road but it was very peaceful.

Greenhope Lookout Cabin

We loved our stay at Sallies place, she was such a friendly host! The house has room for 3 to sleep and has all the basic needs! The location was amazing, we were there for the fall foliage and it did not disappoint, the views of the mountains were amazing and there was many hiking trail around and lake Willoughby looks amazing! The house is a old farm house so keep that in mind but we thought it was just perfect! She also has lots of animals! 5 dogs, 2 horses and a cat! Which we loved visiting with! If you are wanting to wander around the property, see the pond, go say hi to the horses, I would suggest having the proper footwear, we found out rubber boots were the best to go around in as it had rained a lot before had arrived so the one path to the pond was quite wet and the other way to get there was through the horse pasture. Overall we had a great time, and would definitely recommend!

A peaceful pond and mountains!

Greenhope Lookout Cabin

My partner and I enjoyed Sallie’s space immensely! We had a wonderful time exploring the White Mountains with foggy mornings and clear nights☁️ The sunrise and sunset were gorgeous and the quietude of the land was held together peacefully throughout the weekend. The horses grazing and walking about was phenomenal and we were able to enjoy their presence. The cutest cat of all was there as well roaming in and out of the cabin throughout the day and sharing cuddles! The pond down the hill was full of jumping frogs and life. There is internet (which you can ask for) and heat in the house, which we found on the last day, ha! Honestly, our outdoorsy weekend reminded us of a simpler time, but definitely put on the heat near the front door on the first day🥶 We went to the Busy Bee Diner (15 minutes drive) two morning in a row: pancakes, omelette, buttery potatoes, house made bread… all delightful. Sallie was so attentive and answered with ease:) Once we met, all the good vibes continued and Sallie brightened our morning as she saw us off our last day. Such a beautiful experience, quiet and peaceful☮️
