Nestled in the Green Mountains, we are an operating maple syrup farm. Our property is located on a well-maintained dead-end road. It is a beautiful, tranquil place that offers or is near to several activities. Whether you are coming from far away or just want to get out of the hustle and bustle, our place is a GREAT place to unplug. Campsites are located with a view of our beautiful rustic barn, a legacy apple orchard, mountains, and plenty of trees surrounding the area. Sunsets are a beautiful time of day, sitting by your campfire enjoying the peacefulness! Enjoy your smores under a starry sky and listen carefully—you may hear one of our owls! Camping as a group? We may be able to accomodate you! Rent 2 or more sites. Great place to come with your friends or family. ATV/UTV Trails Access ATV/UTV trails from your campsite. There are miles of trails to ride! HIKING Take a hike through our woods or access the thousands of acres adjacent to our property. You will see waterfalls, streams, birds, tracks from the wildlife, and beautiful views. Plenty of places to dip into the cool water when you need to cool off! Walk or drive down to either of 2 covered bridges and see the craftmanship that enables them to continue to be used today! Access the Long Trail at multiple locations within a few miles. BIKING Bike the back roads of the area—wooded areas, windy or flat terrain, beautiful views, plenty of spots to rest beside a flowing stream. Or, access the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (93+ miles of non-motorized riding/walking on a converted and maintained railway bed). FISHING/HUNTING In the mountains we have streams, brooks, and rivers. There are many hotspots for fishing—lots of brook trout! No matter the rod you use, there are many places to try your skills. A fishing/hunting license is needed. CANOE, KAYAK, TUBE Got your own? Bring it! The Lamoille River is a few miles away and a favorite for water lovers. Don't have one, there is a great rental place down the road where you can take one out for the day. Looking for another option to the river? The Belvidere Pond is down the road and offers a peaceful place to paddle around surrounded by the mountains. MAPLE SYRUP/SUGARBUSH Want to learn about the maple sugaring process? We are always happy to give you a tour of our sugarhouse and the woods, and explain how we turn the tree sap into yummy Maple Syrup. (We only boil January-early April.) We do have this year's crop bottled and available for sale! Buy one for morning pancakes, to add to your morning coffee, or to take home! WILDLIFE/BERRIES/MUSHROOMS/FIDDLEHEADS Depending on the time of the year, you can find wild raspberries, blackberries, mushrooms, and fiddleheads. (Please do not pick or eat something if you don't know if it is poisonous!) And, wildlife are around. Look for tracks in the soil, signs they have been there, or if you are really quiet (usually in the early morning or at dusk) you might see deer, geese, or wild turkeys! OTHER ACTIVITIES - Smugglers Notch is a quick drive (South) - Jay Peak is a quick drive (North) - Disc Golf, Ropes Course, Golf, and more. - Access local eateries like the Burger Barn - a local favorite, grap a yummy sandwich or pizza at the Cupboard. - Explore local breweries and distilleries - Forgot something? There are small groceries, a couple of hardware stores, gas stations, etc within a quick drive. Camp sites include flat area, fire ring. Electricity and water at 2 sites. 1 site has a poured concrete pad -- perfect for a camper/RV. The other sites (grassy) can accomodate a camper/RV or tents. Please be prepared to provide your own camping toilet and pack out your trash. If you bring your dog(s), please clean up after them and have "control" as the dirt road is fully in view of the sites. (ATVs (on the trail) and a few vehicles do use the road.) Firewood for firepits available for sale.

This RV/Camper site is set on a concrete pad atop a knoll with electricity, sewer and water hookups included. The site is flat with a fire ring. There is a slight incline to back the RV/camper to the pad. Solid driveway to the pad. There is another campsite below the knoll. You will have access to the fields and woods.

Site 1 is a flat, grassy area overlooking our apple orchard and barn. It backs up to a knoll where Site 2 is located. Water, electricity (30 amp), and sewer. You can back in or drive through to use the cobblestone patio. Guests will enjoy the view, being in the mountains surrounded by woods and well-maintained green space.

This was a gorgeous spot! Very peaceful, lots of area to explore (forest trails, streams, covered bridges and various farms (including llama!) closeby, and more), and the host was so kind and welcoming. We hope to stay again!! Definitely recommend for a peaceful camping trip in a beautiful spot.

We loved camping at Golden Maple Farm. It was beautiful, remote but convenient and the hosts were outstanding. One of our favorite places we’ve stayed.

The hosts are beyond amazing. Spencer gave us the FULL tour of his maple syrup farm/property, and the quiet and private space here is unparralelled. We will most definitely be back!

Coralee was friendly and welcoming. Attentive to bringing more firewood and sharing ideas of what to see. And the campsite was beautiful. Magnificent view of the mountain. The leaves were just beginning to change. Very peaceful. Will definitely come back.

Site 3 - Sugar Shack Campsite
Site was very large and very private. Enjoyed the unobstructed view of the beautiful night sky, and plenty of room for playing with yard games. Had a bit of a hard time leveling the RV. But it was worth it. Recommend bringing a extra step stool in case your stairs end up too far off the ground. Also note that you will get contact info in the last email from the system, and you are supposed to text on arrival. We missed the email so we didn't know.

Coralee and Spencer’s descriptions and recommendations for the site were 100% accurate and useful. Site 2 is well thought out and accommodating for our 36’ Class A, and can easily handle a bigger Rig. Golden Maple Farm is an incredible piece of land that offers beautiful forests, open fields, starry skies, an abundance of wildlife, walking trails, water access and so much more. The location is also perfect with easy access to the North East Kingdom, Smugglers Notch, Stowe, Jay Peak, hiking, biking, covered bridges , etc. Thank you Coralee and Spencer for sharing your gorgeous land with us. We can’t wait to come back!!

We loved camping on Coralee’s land. The mountain views are beautiful! It’s very quiet. We heard owls at night while stargazing. Great location for hiking & biking. We highly recommend ordering their maple syrup - delicious!!

Site 3 - Sugar Shack Campsite
We enjoyed tent camping in the sugar shack field for three nights. The large field surrounded by wildflowers was great for viewing the full moon night sky. It was within 30 minutes of Jay Peak for hikes, music and waterpark fun and within 45 minutes of Smugglers Notch waterfall/hikes and Stowe restaurants, biking and breweries. We were not there during most of the day but enjoyed having the large picnic table and fire pit to come back to. The host was pleasant, responsive and quick to bring firewood and electric adapters. It's BYO bathroom, had electrical hook up and Non-potable water.

What an amazing place to slow down and stretch your legs regardless if you are a two or four legged family member! Nice concrete pad to set up on with amazing views that never cease to amaze us. The area has so much to explore and if you tell Coralee what you are looking for she will point you in the right direction. Can’t wait to go back for a longer stint of time!

I’m afraid to give my real thoughts on this campsite…. Everyone will want to camp here and they’ll always be reserved! This is by far my all time favorite campsite. So gorgeous, quiet, just beautiful! I plan to return over and over again. I love this place! My dogs and I had a great time. We’ll be back!

This Hipcamp is a dream for anyone who values peace and privacy. Tucked away on a quiet road with gorgeous scenery, the site is level and thoughtfully laid out, making setup a breeze. The accommodations are excellent, and the host couldn’t be better—quick to respond and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for a serene escape in a beautiful setting, this is it. Highly recommend!

This spot was perfect! Quit with wonderful views. Also wide open spaces that the dogs could enjoy. Host was wonderful and had our firewood ready as soon as we got there! Near smugglers notch, so lots of hiking and adventures. An hour from Burlington which is a must city to experience. Could not have asked for a better experience!.

This is a gorgeous property with plenty of space to wander and drive to local attractions. Coralee was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. The mountains and rivers are beautiful! I plan to return!

We enjoyed our spacious site. The hosts were amazing. We went on wonderful hikes, bike riding, swimming and canoeing. We travel in a toy hauler with our motorcycle and went on incredible rides all over Vermont. If you have an atv or motorcycle, this is your spot! We would love to return there soon.

Golden Maple Farm was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Coralee met us right away to check in and make sure we had all that we needed. The full hookup was perfect. There is a lot to do in the area. We rode our bikes on the beautiful bike trails and did lots of site seeing. Thank you Coralee for sharing your beautiful farm and views. We can’t wait to return.

The RV site (Site 2) was absolutely gorgeous -- it couldn't have been a more beautiful setting. Peaceful and quiet, with a nearby creek completing the scene. Our dogs loved this spot too, with ample room for us to talk leisurely walks. (There are trails but due to the very rainy weather, we weren't able to take advantage of them.) Coralee is wonderful -- she checked in on us to make sure we had made it okay. We'll definitely be back, for a longer (and hopefully less rainy) time for our next visit!

Site 2 at Golden Maple Farm provided a perfect and comfortable RV experience, complete with full hookups and perched atop a hill offering stunning views of the mountains and vibrant fall colors. The property features a charming old barn and a legacy apple orchard, adding to the picturesque setting. We enjoyed exploring the numerous trails through the woods, which led to a nearby waterfall—an amazing spot for nature lovers. The covered bridges in the area are also a must-see! With its peaceful surroundings and plenty of activities, this site is ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Vermont.

We loved tent camping on Coralee’s land. The views are beautiful, especially during fall season. We even had the chance to see the northern lights; such a special experience! The two camping sites are quite close to each other so it’s not the most private. Overall we had a great experience. Would definitely recommend!!
