This was definitely the nicest Hipcamp I've ever stayed at. There was a bathroom shed with all sorts of amenities and a flat wooden plank to sleep on. The goats were very cute as well. I thought it was a good stay with a friendly host.

The camp site provided everything we needed. The platform has rings to tie down your tent. We were able to set up our doors so I could wake up and open it to see the goats and beautiful property. Before booking, I saw comments about hearing road noise, but it wasn't noticeable to us. We had the quiet rejuvenating stay we wanted. Super impressed with the kitchen/bathroom in the shed. The equipment looked brand new. The bathroom was clean. I've never seen a porta-potty with a flush before, and it worked really well. Only wish was for a light in the shed. Probably wouldn't normally be an issue but it rained most of our trip so the cloud cover didn't provide much ambient light during the day. Their goat-tender Jacquelyn was so friendly and super helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

We had a nice parking spot for the RV with electric. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. They had written information telling campers local areas to visit and guidelines. The property was just lovely. There was a portable potty and area to cook, a place for a tent. Above all, were those adorable goats that I was able to pet and brush. My stay there was absolutely wonderful and memorable! Thank you!

Came into Burlington for a show at Higher Ground and needed a place to park my pop-up camper for the night. This was a great little spot! 20 minute Ubers into the city, goats to pet, and a great host!

We enjoyed glamping in the tent. This spot was perfect to stay at before our hot air balloon ride just a 4 minute drive away. We also enjoyed the nearby brewery and cidery just a mile away. The tent was clean and the porta-john was also clean. We would stay here again.

Clean and tidy with charming goats! We parked our van in the driveway, and there was some road traffic quite close. There was also a security light that stayed on all night, which we fortunately had shades to block. Convenient to Birlington

Fun place to stay! Yes, it's a parking space in front of a garage, but the location is OUTSTANDING if you want to be near Burlington, Richmond, Essex, etc. and there is a beautiful backyard with goats, a fire pit, river etc.
Immaculate and the hosts (who I actually never met) have everything set up to provide what you need.

Chris’s RV parking was a great accommodation. Although there was rather noisy traffic, the rest of the setting is very peaceful. Their hospitality was more than accommodating to meet my short term needs. I would definitely stay again should my travels bring me back to Essex.

Great location. It’s only 20 minutes to Burlington. There is a bike pass accessible from the house. It’s quiet. Lots of hiking nearby. The goats are super cute. Chris was very responsive to my questions.

Amazing experience. Very accommodating hosts, fainting goats, quality 30 AMP plug in. Perfectly flat driveway, easy pull in and back out. We’ll definitely be coming back. Certainly the most desirable Hip Camp that I know about within a 75 mile radius of North Hero Island (our destination). We have two young kids, and they were crying when we left.
You’ll have a great experience, no question about it.

My partner and I are Healthcare workers staying in our truck camper. Our original camp plans for the evening fell through at the last minute but Chris was accommodating, especially considering how last minute it was. He made sure we had everything we needed and we had a place to park and plug in for the night. Very grateful for the accommodation.

A lovely farmhouse location with an adorable “goat garden”! The goat area is a sweet spot (with beautiful outdoor decor) that melts away tension by just visiting the goats. The hosts are wonderfully welcoming (they even suggested a great local event to attend before Halloween), and we had plenty of privacy. The trailer/RV spot might seem small at first sight, but it’s perfectly positioned for both easy access & privacy.

Chris was very helpful when I arrived to back into the driveway. Great location close to everything. The goats are adorable. We were there only a short time but would stay again. The road got a little noisy around 6am but other than that it was great.

The location was very convenient for being close to Burlington for restaurants and site seeing in the area. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Visiting the goats were a fun little extra. Super cute. The site is definitely for smaller RV. Our 20 ft hybrid and truck fit fine. The site seemed private because it’s wooded and fenced however it’s near a pretty heavy traffic intersection and you can hear the traffic. It’s wasn’t bothersome for us because we chose this site for convenience of location to Burlington. I would recommend this site for anyone visiting the Burlington area. The price was great too!!

Chris and Melissa were great host. Very friendly and helpful but also gave us our space and privacy. We enjoyed visiting our daughter, watching University of Vermont soccer, great mountain biking, and some unique restaurants.

Chris & Melissa are great hosts. We really enjoyed our stay at their camp spot. The site is very private and they have an awesome backyard for our dog to run. This is the perfect base camp for the general Burlington area. Understand that it's in a somewhat urban area, so you will get the expected traffic, noise, etc. that comes with such a convenient location. Great Hipcamp!
