You will be camping on the grounds of the Tunbridge World's Fair, there are multiple spaces for all sizes of RV's with electrical hookups and water with easy access and parking. Restrooms and showers available. Beautiful site with the First Branch of the White River passing through and 2 covered bridges within walking distance. Half mile dirt track for running or biking. Your site may be adjusted to better accommodate you depending on whatever else may be going on at the grounds, this will be discussed when you book.

Easy access and parking with grassy sites. In the heart of Vermont, it is a short drive to Marsh-Billings National Historic Park, Woodstock, Stowe, Waterbury, Burlington or just relax and watch the river! Due to the number of vintage fair buildings, absolutely no campfires can be allowed.  There might be activity from the grounds crew during daytime hours as we strive to keep improving the area. Grassy Arena
We just spent three nights on the Union Ag's Fairgrounds because it is one of our favorite Hipcamp locations. Great hosts, a new shower and toilet building, a great location, and a nice, small river branch for cooling off. We recommend you visit the Tunbridge library and visit their $1 book sale in the basement. We buy books there twice a year. Then purchase the local walking trails book and find the the page for Strawberry Hill. A short, easy hike off of Morrill Road leads up through two pastures (with a couple friendly cows) to a high observation point, with benches and a 300 degree view.

Camping at the World’s Fair was great. As others have said -not much to do right by. We were in the area to ride our motorcycle. The area was stunning. Highway 100 to Stowe isn’t too far. The General Store has a delicious cafe for lunch and breakfast. Communication was quick. Power and water at the site with dump station on the property.

Plenty of sites with water / electric hookups set down in the fairgrounds, quiet and away from the road. Clean showers are available. It's a short, easy walk to the Tunbridge General Store for breakfast/lunch. There's river access to cool off on a hot day. Mountain views in every direction and lots of stars at night. Peg was very kind and came to greet us when we arrived.

Great stay! We were met at the front, given options on where we could park. We were the only ones so we had access to the entire fairgrounds including a creek where my kids enjoyed playing. Not alot to do around the area so stock up on your groceries before you get there!

This camping spot was so peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. Easy hookups and lots of space. Peggy and Bob were so friendly and helpful. The general store is a short walk and they have great food!

Beautiful location with wonderful staff. The venue does hold many events. Be sure to communicate with staff so that you know what to expect. The map is not fully accurate for site choice, for you will be moved, if needed to accommodate events scheduled in the venue.

Grassy Arena
Tunbridge is justifiably proud of its fairgrounds. Located in a valley of the First Branch of the White River it is a beautiful place to visit and stay. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The river branch here is small, generally clear and shallow, and swimming access is easy within the fairgrounds. We have visited Tunbridge many times to attend the Jenny Brook Bluegrass Festival at the fairgrounds in late June and we were ecstatic to discover that the fairgrounds are a now a Hipcamp destination. Getting to Tunbridge is very easy via Rt 89. There are many opportunities fishing the White River and its tributaries, and Craft beer lovers should make a point of visiting Worthy Burger in South Royalton for an excellent selection of beers on tap. Gravel cyclists will be challenged by the rugged hills above the valley in this area. Yes, we are biased. :-) We enjoy visiting this area of Vermont from our home in coastal, southeast New Hampshire as it is an easy 2-hour drive away.

Wonderful campsite! Set on an amazing property and located near a general store! Showers and restrooms were very clean and the hosts were so kind! Definitely would return!

This hidden gem is perfect for getting away from the chaos. Host was extremely helpful and accommodating. Bathrooms and Showers on site and a dump station make this the perfect spot.

What a great place to bring an RV. I loved how much space there is and how quiet it was. Plenty of room to walk our dogs and the 1st branch right there for wading and fishing. The track is great to walk on or ride bikes around. The Tunbridge village store is across the road and their deli serves breakfasts. If you want a quiet place with hookups and plenty of space this is it!

Fair Valley is a great place for rest and relaxation. It is a beautiful setting on the site of the Tunbridge World’s Fair. We had a nice grassy spot and it was very peaceful. We had Water and Electric hookups. Restrooms, showers and a Dump Station are all available.

Great spot in Vermont located in a peaceful little valley. There are a bunch of covered bridges to explore nearby. The site has a ton of different hookups to setup your RV, they host various events throughout the year and since there are not many lodging options are nearby most camp onsite. There were only a couple of RVs when we visited and were off in the distance. Cool area to checkout and this location fit our needs perfectly!

Great communication by Peggy who also was kind enough to meet us in order to direct us to our site. It had everything we needed, electricity, water, and a dump station. We were one of only two campers there that particular evening but even if there were other campers, they're spaced out wonderfully so that you don't feel like you're cramped into a spot. It was our first hipcamp experience and it was definitely a good one.

Fair Valley Camping
We were only able to stay one night at this location, but we would have stayed longer if we knew they could in fact accommodate us. We have a 42' 5th wheel with 50 amps. They do have a dump station. And there is a grey water hook up. Definitely big rig friendly. The directors of the property met us up late at night to help us get in our spot. Answered all our questions and were very accommodating. Plenty of room to walk our dogs. Definitely recommend this location.

We loved camping at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds. Our host Margaret Sherlock was amazing! She was there to greet us and was extremely helpful in explaining everything to us. When contacted she was very quick to respond. :)
