This is the best campsite I have ever visited in my life. Josef and his wife are incredible people. So generous. The campground has everything you need. You just have to come with your clothes and food. I will come back often. I felt like I was staying with friends.

Amazing experience!! Josef and Jeanet are the nicest people, helpful and genereous. They like to share stories and advice. I felt at home with them. The location is beautiful and you have anything that you would possibly need on-site, and more.

Nice spot and close to beautiful nature and historic Woodstock. Situated along a blueberry farm, with a nice view of the mountains and dark night sky.
Has all you need for a visit without bringing camping gear. Just bring your food and wine and you’re all set. Very comfortable bedding. The lull of the sporadic traffic put us at ease and we slept well.

We had a wonderful stay here. We met Janet who walked us through everything and was very welcoming. The camp site has everything you need. The air mattresses were comfy, and we were pleased to see that all amenities were provided - hot shower, toilet, full kitchen, electricity, wifi.. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Josef was very welcoming. We arrived late and they came right over to show us around. The kitchen area was better than we expected with everything you need to prepare and eat your meals. The bathroom facilities are clean and easy to get to at night with excellent lighting everywhere. The tents are clean, the beds are comfortable and cozy and both battery lanterns and electric lights (run off a battery) are provided. Unfortunately we had a busy weekend at a horse show so we didn’t spend any daylight time at our campsite or take advantage of the well-stocked farm stand, but we will definitely stay again if we are in the area! The property has been thoughtfully laid out and is very safe and comfortable. It is camping, but definitely not “roughing it”. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

All the good things reported in comments are true. But if you are not familiar with the area, Rt 4 is a busy road with cars, trucks and motorcycles. Look at the map. For summer 2021 , site 5 by the river is not available.

We stayed at Crystal Spring for three nights and could not have had a better experience. The location was gorgeous, the amenities were ideal for a camping trip, and Josef and his wife were the nicest, most accommodating hosts we could ever hope for. Their activity suggestions helped us get the most out of our stay, and chatting to them made a lovely trip even better. You can really tell the care and attention they put into the campsite which, given the very modest nightly rate, goes above and beyond any expectations. We can’t wait to return to this hidden gem the next time we visit Vermont.

This was an awesome set up, especially for the price! Beautiful and peaceful land, but the tents were definitely a little closer together than a typical campground. The common outdoor kitchen tent was plenty big enough and the other travelers were friendly!

Absolutely loved cam site #6! The soothing sounds of the river were amazing and exactly what I needed for restoring myself. Josef was super welcoming and thoroughly explained all the cooking stoves and pizza Oven. Enjoyed The fruits, vegetables and blueberry juice bought at his stand. Will definitely visit again. The close proximity of campsite to Woodstock and Killington was very convenient as well.

Josef and his wife were so friendly and welcoming. The tents are good quality, so even though it rained when we were there, it was completely dry inside the tent. The outdoor kitchen is very well-equipped; the portapotty is the cleanest one we’ve ever seen.
