The campsite offers a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views and a welcoming host, Dianne, who goes out of her way to ensure a pleasant stay. Most visitors rave about the beautiful setting, spacious sites, and convenient location near the LVRT, making it a top choice for nature lovers and cycling enthusiasts. Guests appreciated the cleanliness and thoughtful amenities, including a composting toilet and optional breakfast delivery, enhancing their camping experience. While some mention the sites are not very private, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many planning to return for the tranquility and natural beauty.
Dianne has a great campsite, located very close to Stowe and Smugg's and everything the area has to offer. Dianne responded incredibly fast to all of our accommodations whether it was dropping some more firewood at the site so it was ready when we got back from a long day of hiking, or bringing us water first thing in the morning.
A very beautiful place to camp and Dianne is a perfect host, responsive to questions and so kind, friendly and welcoming.
With the LVRT just down the road this place is a great casting off point for a weekend of riding.
This property was so beautiful and Dianne is an excellent host! We started at site 8 and were very happy, and decided to spend an extra night and moved to site 5. Incredible views!! Best spot in the place! We loved it here! This region and hipcamp are in our favorites! Thank you so much!
This place is absolutely beautiful the views are breathtaking and it’s so peaceful easy to sleep in if u like it’s down in a holler plenty of things to do for the family that are free even more if you have money to spend perfect place for guys to go and have a getaway or her family to go camping or for a father and son to have a special trip
I loved the tent sites and it wasn’t too close to the other sites. Very beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Saw a shooting star in the clear night skies. The creek wasn’t too far away and the swimming hole was perfect!
Great camp right off the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. Dianne was a gracious host! The camp was clean, my site was tucked away, and the views were amazing. Would definitely stay again!
Dianne is a marvelous host. So friendly and accommodating. She will deliver anything to your campsite like firewood and breakfast! And the views are brilliant. Highly recommend.
Beautiful views, easy to access from LVRT, super clean composting toilet. Dianne was extremely responsive and helpful, worked with me to help celebrate a birthday at camp. Highly recommend her blueberry muffins and pancakes as well!
It was a beautiful and peaceful space and that's exactly what I was looking for after some birthday shenanigans with my children and my nephew. We had a nasty and it was amazing to let my 6 year old be free to roam in a peaceful scenic view.
My boyfriend and I found the perfect little place for our weekend getaway. The views were beautiful. We loved watching the sunset over the mountains. Dianne was easy to contact and was readily available when we arrived.
This had to be one of my favorite camping experiences! Loved that it was right off the rail trail- and Dianne couldn’t have made the experience better than to be able to order fire wood and water at the campsite after a long day of biking. The best part: the most delicious pancakes and maple syrup in the morning! Beautiful site with amazing views. Thank you!
A very quiet stay surrounded by nature, with clear directions provided. The host was friendly and welcoming. All amenities were exactly as advertised, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
