Wake up beneath the shadow of Mt. Ascutney, where the rhythm of horse hooves and a babbling brook invite you to slow down and breathe deeply. Our cozy Vermont horse farm is tucked into the trees at the base of the mountain—just far enough to escape, but close enough for adventure. A short ½-mile walk leads to Cascade Falls, a tranquil forest hike to a hidden waterfall. Three miles away, the Connecticut River offers paddling, fishing, and peaceful river views. Fall in love with the magic of New England foliage or the quiet green stillness of summer days. As night falls, the stars come alive. With minimal light pollution, you’ll see the Milky Way stretch across the sky—a soul-stirring sight you’ll never forget. Bring a blanket, pour a warm drink, and let nature work its magic. Time your stay with our Horse Connection Weekend for a heart-opening experience with our gentle horses. Groom, connect, and learn in a way that grounds and centers you. It's not just camping—it's connection. This is a pet-friendly and no-contact stay, where everything you need is ready and waiting. We’re nearby if you need us—but otherwise, it’s all yours. And yes, farm-fresh eggs are available to make your mornings even better.Your campsite is tucked in a charming corner of our farm, offering the best of both worlds – a blend of woods and open sky. Set at the edge of a quiet grove beside a babbling brook, the site provides privacy, shade, and the soothing sound of running water, all while opening up to a lovely view of Mt. Ascutney’s forested slopes. You’ll have plenty of space to spread out your tent (or park a camper/RV) on the grassy area, and you can drive right up to the site for easy unloading. There are no other campsites here – this spot is exclusively yours, so you can truly immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature You’ll have a clear view of the mountain and sky—perfect for stargazing and watching mist lift from the fields at sunrise. Build a fire in your dedicated fire area—we’ll even provide a bundle of firewood to get you started. The outdoor toilet is easy to access (just BYO toilet paper). Everything else is simple, rustic, and peaceful. You can relax knowing this is a contact-free stay: arrive on your own schedule and make yourself at home. The host is available by phone/text if any questions come up, but otherwise you’ll have all the privacy you want. Whether you’re sipping hot coffee in the morning while watching the mist lift off the mountain, or laying back at midnight to count shooting stars, this campsite provides a safe, serene, and refreshing space for your Vermont getaway. It’s the perfect home base to explore by day and unwind by night, all in the heart of nature. Whether you’re looking to unplug, reflect, or just rest—you’ve found your spot.
