We are a farm animal sanctuary in beautiful Tunbridge vt. We are situated on 20 acres of pasture where our resident sheep, goats and cows graze. Our livestock guardian dogs Clem and Enzo keep the herd safe but are extremely friendly and love guests. Throw a ball for Clem and you will have a lifelong friend!!!

Rustic cottage tucked away in the back of the sheep pasture. Off grid. No electricity or plumbing. Solar powered lanterns for lighting. WiFi reaches the cabin but it’s rural Vermont, so it’s not a guarantee it will always work!!! The restroom is located in a small cabin between the two campsites. It consists of a dry flush toilet and in the warmer weather, a hand wash station. In the summer, wash up in our outdoor shower! We have solar water bags that are warmed up by the sun for a quick and refreshing shower. The cottage is fenced in to give privacy and keep the goats from wandering into your space. But mingling with the barnyard residents is definitely encouraged and an experience!!! The wood stove keeps the cabin toasty warm in the cooler months. Site includes a Solo stove for campfire, a bundle of wood, park style charcoal grill, 2 hammocks. The bed is full sized ** You are in nature and may hear nature sounds like owls and foxes and you may see spiders and their webs, and other things that reside in nature** Cell service is spotty and unpredictable in our rural section of Vermont. We encourage you to take screenshots of the guest check in email and our address and WiFi password so that if we aren’t home when you arrive, your check in will be smooth Our friendly farm dogs live on the property and may be around during your stay. They love meeting guests!

This 4 person tent is tucked away in the hollow of our sheep pasture. Listen to the babbling brook and watch the fire flies sparkle on a warm summer evening by the campfire. Included at your site is a Solo stove, park style grill, queen sized bed and full size bed, The restroom is located in a small cabin between the two campsites. It consists of a dry flush toilet and in the warmer weather, a hand wash station. In the summer, wash up in our outdoor shower! We have solar water bags that are warmed up by the sun for a quick and refreshing shower. We are a farm animal rescue and are always happy to give a tour and let guests meet our residents. This tent site is off grid, no electricity. Flashlights are supplied. We recommend you bring coolers to keep food cool A Note About Nature Our tents and rustic cabins are nestled right in the heart of nature. That means you may see (and hear!) wildlife, insects, and all the little wonders that come with outdoor living. If the sights and sounds of nature aren't your thing, this might not be the best fit for you, then please check out our inn accommodations! But if you're ready to unplug, relax, and embrace the outdoors, you'll love the experience! Our friendly farm dogs live on the property and may be around during your stay. They love meeting guests!

Clem’s cottage
Staying at Clem’s Cottage was the unique experience we were looking for! My daughter loves animals so being literally surrounded was the perfect experience for her- From being greeted by the dogs to gently asking the goat to move from the gate so we could move around. What a special experience to be standing among the sheep and goats at dusk when they all move out quickly from some hidden (to us) cue that it was time to return to the barn. The cabin was cozy and the bed was comfortable. We brought a cooler with some food and had a picnic dinner one night. Lots of solar and battery powered lights that worked for different purposes. Missy and Steve were very kind and gave us our space but responsive if we needed something.

I loved this stay! The tent was very cozy and we managed to stay warm throughout the night. The sheep gave us a warm welcome and we had a great view of the stars.

Amazing Spot!
Clem’s cottage
The cottage/cabin and the tent were both incredible. Clean and neat. Love the cabin with the wood stove. The property is just as awesome. All the animals are beautiful and the highlight might have been meeting Clem, the Great Pyrenees- what a sweet sweet boy. Would 100% come back again. 😁

Missy's tent is the perfect Vermont farm retreat. The tent is nicely appointed and clean. The bed is comfortable. Nice fire ring and two hammocks to lounge. The farm itself if in a beautiful location and the animals are fun.

Hosts Missy and Steve are wonderful! They have a beautiful piece of Vermont, rich in history and natural beauty. They also are doing amazing loving work with the 4-hoofed animals they have adopted. Their sheep, goats and cows are the most gentle and full of character. I loved staying here!
