We had a great time camping at Woodhill, but we think there should be more signage on site. We had some difficulties finding the campsite, and the map on the campgrounds is at the end of the road on the backend of the campgrounds. The map doesnt mark any of the sites either and the instructions were to stay within the blue boundary of the map. We think we ended up at the easy access site, but woke up to people parked next to us to access the trailhead. Its also on a natural gas pipeline area, so it was more industrial than I really felt comfortable with.

This place was perfect. We were able to feel far away from everything, but close to everything at the same time. Michelle was very helpful and responsive. She set up our camp to be just right for us. I highly recommend it. My wife isn't a camper, but we had a queen bed in in the bell tent and restaurants nearby, so we didn't have to cook.

Michelle was very nice and attentive! Great place to stop passing through town and beautiful sunset/rise. Definitely close to public trails and such so for that reason I wouldn’t want to camp alone as a woman but in a group felt totally safe.

Beautiful spot that has a beautiful view of the hills and quick access right into town! Easily accessible if you follow their directions. Would come back again!

I got their a little after 9:30 and called the contact. There was no answer. No answer to message on the app either. I drove to the top of the bluff as instructed, but there was no map as described. I tried to find a campsite, but none were marked. I drove pretty deep in before turning around. I left and went to a gas station for a little bit before returning and trying again. This time I was followed by an SUV. They flashed their lights at me a bunch and followed me deep into the place. I was able to get turned around, and they followed me all the way out. I drove 2 hours home. The next day the poster did message me, and offered me a refund; however, they did not refund the entire fee and only partially refunded me after I opened a case with hipcamp. I would not recommend this place to camp at all.

We reserved camp site 10 but found the site 7 fit better for us. Michelle was very nice and met us there to show us where to go. The campsite had some broken glass all around it. With a dog and toddler we had to be extra careful. We picked up what we could and tried to avoid the rest. Overall is was a nice spot to stop for the night and get some mtn biking in. There seems to be BLM land around her property but we weren't sure where exactly the line is drawn. Having a clean pit toilet was a nice bonus. We would stop there again.

Beautiful quiet spot on top of the hill overlooking town. Quite lovely and enjoyable. Its great going to sleep looking at the city lights and then waking up to the city.

I would highly recommend this site to someone who wants to get out on a mountain bike, and has an ATV. The hostess is very attentive and available, extremely interested in her guests needs.
The land is on very open area near the town of Pine, UT. Nicely maintained pit toilet on the far north end of the land.
Be prepared for a dry camp and plenty of sand.

Michelle’s property is exactly what you would expect a Utah camping spot to be- on a “mountain”, a little sandy, and just absolutely beautiful! We felt safe and secure during the night and there was tons to see and walk to around the property.
Michelle is also very responsive. She met us at the top of the “mountain” and led us to our site. She responded quickly and was very kind.
This stay is for the true adventurers- get ready to get a little sandy and see the true beauty of Utah!

We enjoyed staying at the Easy Access Site 1! We just needed some ground to throw a tent on between SLC and Moab, and this did the trick. Firewood wasn’t available for us so consider bringing your own. It’s also windy up there so be prepared for that!

I probably wouldn’t spend more than a night here. There aren’t clear signs of where to go, which spot is which. Def harder to find in the dark. With hiking trails being so close I wouldn’t leave anything there while I was away from site.

The host was very nice and very helpful. Unfortunately my third day there while I was off working somebody decided to come and ransack my campsite, try to steal my tent and threw rocks in my camp stove. Honestly, I think they would have taken off with my tent if they had had a stake puller. So while the site is beautiful, if you're going to have to leave your campsite unattended for any length of time, this might not be the place for you. I had to leave a day early because I didn't feel safe after the destruction of my camp. I had kind of hoped that I would get a refund for that unused noght but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Upon arriving, we were unsure which site was the easy access and Michelle was quick to respond and help us. She was there in ten minutes or less and guided us to another site that provided more shade. We had the whole area to ourselves and had straight access to mountain bike trails! Would recommend and thank you, Michelle!

The sites are not marked at all, so you have no idea which campsite is which, there are not signs or arrows indicating where campsites even are. We spent much of the night trying to even find something that resembled a campsite, and we could not. Tons and tons of twisty dirt roads and no signs. We ended up finding a patch of dirt and setting up a tent there, a few minutes of setting up, a scorpion a few inches from my hand started to crawl away. No way are we going to wake up with a scorpion in our sleeping bag that night! We packed up and slept in the car all night. It was so awful. I reached out to request a refund and have not heard anything back. So here is my honest review.

We enjoyed our stay at wood hill campground. Michelle communicated with us ahead of time, and handled the reservation smoothly. We were almost completely alone at the site, and town is still close by.

The site is close to a town but you feel totally secluded, which was perfect camping with kids. Michelle met us quickly and showed us to our site where there was plenty of wood and so much beauty to explore. It drizzled on and off and was absolutely gorgeous. Sites are spread out so we didn’t worry about disturbing anyone. We drive a minivan and the access was just fine. Great site and convenience spot.

I was tent camping traveling across the United States and just need a place to camp for the night and I happen to stumble upon this gem. My car got down to campsite #2 which my car squeezed down the trail fine but the ground was not wet. My campsite overlooked the town and was an amazing sunset. Michelle met me later at my site to make sure I was fine and she also offered if my site was too windy I could move wherever. I had the whole place to myself and had a very relaxing evening. I would highly recommend this spot for people that wanna feel like they are away but with cell reception.

We had a great time Wood Hill Campground! Pretty views, secluded, and plenty of space between sites. We were initially a little confused on where our site was, but our Host, Michelle R., was super helpful with directions!
All in all it was a great trip and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun camping spot!

This was a great place to camp. Very quiet, beautiful cedars and junipers, and a great view of the valley. Even saw a deer bounding down a bluff and up the opposite bluff.

We unfortunately arrived after dark, which made it really hard to find our site. Michelle was absent that day and had given us two options via google pins but neither really worked for us. Our car has 4wd but a low clearance. It wasn't ideal and we could hear (and feel) big rocks scrapping under our car. We ended up giving up and getting a hotel 😕
