The place was trashed. Junk everywhere. Hoses, broken chairs, trash everywhere. Care just a little bit. This place should not be rented as is.

Tan Yurt #42
We stayed in the “Tan” yurt on our travels in the area. The yurt was ok, but for the money, we expected better. The door doesn’t seal, so it’s open to dust and bugs. The bedding and pillows are poor, bring your own. The AC sort of worked but is loud and we finally turned it off to sleep. Our worst experience was having someone knock on the door at midnight thinking that they had rented the yurt for the evening. Fortunately, they went to another yurt on the property, but it’s hard to feel relaxed when folks are wandering around shining their lights in the wee hours of the morning, particularly in a junky area in a remote town.

This yurt offers an incredible view and is just minutes from Mexican hat rock. It also has super easy parking and a hot shower!
