Nestled on the eastern side of the Wasatch Mountains, North Fork Park stands out as a unique 2,600-acre camping and outdoor destination, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and commitment to preserving dark skies. This park is not only a haven for campers but also offers a variety of Nordic activities, thanks to Ogden Nordic, along with extensive hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. As an International Dark Sky destination, it provides an exceptional opportunity for stargazing and connecting with nature. North Fork Park typically opens its gates on the first weekend of May, weather permitting, and remains accessible until mid-October. Please note that water services may be turned off in mid-October, depending on weather conditions. For the latest closure information, feel free to call 801-399-8230. The park features approximately 132 individual campsites spread across five distinct areas: Cold Water, Cutler Flats, Loop A/B/Corrals, Middle Gate, and Mustang Flats. Each campsite is equipped with fire pits, picnic tables, running water, and nearby flushing toilets, ensuring a comfortable outdoor experience.
