What a fabulous camp site! We stayed here in our van for four nights. The site is private and peaceful. Nights were quiet with so many stars, and during the day we enjoyed hikes up Mill Creek Canyon and biking in to town (a 15-20 minute ride). The outhouse at the nearby trailhead is clean and convenient, it’s just a quick walk or even quicker bike ride.

Overall this was a great site. It’s very close to the town of Moab and has great access to public lands. The site itself was quiet, though we were there on a Sunday and Monday night. It is conceivable that it wouldn’t be nearly as peaceful on Friday and Saturdays. I point this out because the site is very close to a county road wit great access to public land. The site was lovingly maintained and has a little bit of Zen garden to it. It’s right next to a stream, so you get the sight and sounds of live water. If you’re one of those folks who gets a two minute warning after your first cup of coffee in the morning, be aware that the public bathroom is a bit of a walk.

Valhalla indeed!
I loved my stay...I was in a quiet and very private Canyon, and yet I was minutes from town on my bicycle. The best thing??? The creek! It was amazing. I had such a refreshing splash in that clear and sweet spring fed creek. Nice little fire pit as well and great sunsets and sunrises. Check it out!
