I love this campsite! This is my second time here! I will be coming back again! Brian is awesome is very hospitable! His has firewood for sell. You’re 2 minutes from the entrance to the park. The campsite is always clean. Clean out house and showers. I will be back for sure. If you’re looking for tent camping this is the spot! Highly recommend and great veiws! There are neighbor dogs that are too cute! You can bring your dog too! I saw the northern lights my last night there!

Great spot to stay! Brian was very hospitable and had a great setup. They provide clean bathrooms (pit style outhouse) and a hot, clean shower. Also enjoyed the Navajo tacos prepared by his wife. Highly recommend! The location is perfect if you want to visit Monument Valley, as it is very close to the Tribal Park entrance. There is a nice 20ish minute hike from Brian’s place that leads up a hill and provides a great place to watch sunrise or sunset. Just stayed one night but it was just what we needed.

Brian and his wife were very friendly. Very close to Monument Valley, with a nice view and fabulous starry skies. The site was clean and it was nice that picnic tables are provided with a little cover over them.

Friendly hosts, great directions it was very easy to find. We forgot which site we had selected, but they were quick to respond and help. We enjoyed our site, the views were amazing! I hiked the trail to the overlook twice! So pretty! We slept so good it was very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend!

Overall a good experience. A few things would make it better like emptying the trash. The two trash cans they have were overflowing and crowd were picking at it and spreading trash everywhere. There is zero light in the out house. Maybe they should put a vault toilet in rather than just digging a hole in the ground that can’t be cleaned out

We enjoyed our car camping stay here. It was easy to find and super close to Monument Valley park. The short hike to the mittens overlook was really great and I enjoyed watching sunset there. It was also nice to take a hot shower after my hike.

Absolutely gorgeous setting! Clean outhouses and easy to find. Dark skies and deep quiet. Brian and Alberta’s welcome was warm and accommodating. Stay here if you can!

Super easy to find and conveniently located right down from the Navajo visitor center and scenic drive. I enjoyed the hike to view the iconic Mittens. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The Navajo Tea was delicious!

The shower set up was quite good able to keep clothes dry and clean from the red sands. We were in late and out early. But appreciated a place to park

Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, sharing tips and things to see. The campsites are clean with spectacular views all around. Monument Valley is an absolutely stunning and incredible place to visit and we would definitely stay at Hummingbird Campsite again.

We love camping here. This is our second time stay with Brian and as last time it was a great experience. We travel in a 20 foot camper and we had lots of room.
Less than a mile from Monument Valley Tribal Park entrance. And there is a trail to the park if you want to get some sunsets on the buttes pics.
I highly recommend you stay here if coming to Monument Valley.

Some nice views, tables / benches at some sites; i didn't think the web page conveyed the fact its basically a lot with a house in the middle and a few neighbors around, but the shower is great and the outhouses are clean. If they put gravel down over the dust (which is the entire lot) it would be nice.

The directions to get to the campsite were clear. Brian, the owner, was really helpful, friendly, and contact with him was easy.
Place is outside of the city. If you like to be in the nataure, that is a big plus. Toilets were really ok for such a location. Each tent slot has its table with benches, and a small roof, plus a fire pit.
The views are extraordinary.
We were hoping to see the stars in the night. Unfortunately, despite being outside the city, due to light pollution (+full moon) we've barely seen any.
Fortunately, the sounds of nature made up for the feeling of being in the wild.
Hint: if you want to see sunrise above Monument Valley rocks, it's good to take a small walk outside the campsite towards the mountains. The view is then free from any buildings.

What an amazing place the views are unbelievable. We enjoyed watching the horses playing with the monument valley views. No Hassle we booked it online turned up and you’re pretty much just get left to enjoy your time there highly recommended one of my favourite places I have stayed .

Great place to camp while exploring the area. Brian and Alberta are lovely hosts -- friendly, polite, genuinely happy to have you visit. The grounds are clean and there is a trailhead across the road that takes you to the rim of the valley -- don't miss the sunset or sunrise! Great location and easy to get to -- good directions and just off the main Monument Valley road. Come hungry as the Navajo taco that Alberta makes is delicious!! You will hear the neighborhood dogs at night but none came to camp.

It’s a boondock spot and great location to Monument Valley and all it has to offer… it’s great over nite spot if you are traveling. They working on the property and improving what they have going. Great sport. Great value and puts you right at monument valley.

Hummingbird campsite is an oasis in the middle of the desert! Brian and his family are nice and friendly, their tacos are delicious and they provide drinking water, table with shade, firering and shower!! Plus, you can do a short hike to see the sun set on The Mittens from a lonely viewpoint. We couldn't ask for more!

Zorg dat je überhaupt goed uit de wind kan zitten. Wc heel smerig. Als je zoiets doet doe het dan goed. Niet voor een tent bestemd. Voor een caravan met alles erin ok.
