It was a full hookup site. We found it to be private and seamless experience. The road noise was a bit more than anticipated but it’s quieter at night and sleeping was not an issue. . The main building had really nice public areas and bathrooms. It’s solid for the price and I went like I received a fair deal.

Our stay at HTR was absolutely amazing! The host was extremely kind and welcoming- offering us local recommendations of restaurants and trails nearby, carry great conversations about Moab and always being a light in the room.
The tents and facilities have everything you need. Great central location to the town.

The bathrooms could’ve been cleaner as well the tent floor. The sheets were not clean when we arrived and so we asked them to change them the next day. There could’ve been a few more improvements inside the tent like a second bedside table and a small flashlight. The lighting wasn’t great outside either and the two chairs in front of the tent were starting to decompose from weather. We had a nice time, although it could have been improved with not that much effort.

This was a very safe space with clean bathrooms and kitchen for use. Our tent was toasty upon arrival too. This place is fun because you meet people from around the world and have cool conversations. Being so close to town was nice as well cause you can be there in 5 minutes to walk the streets. Tons of stores and places to eat. Loved this experience and hiking the national parks!

The primitive tent sites are clearly a cashgrab to squeeze as much money out of the property as possible. The pad for spaces 4, 5 & 6 is the size of any single campsite found essentially anywhere else. If you book a single one of these sites, be ready to be tent-to-tent with your neighbors. There is no enforcement or marking of the boundaries of each tentsite, when we arrived someone not on our booking had already set a tent up in our space / the footpath shown on the campground map.
Between the cramped space, 0 parking at the tent pad (they’re all walk-up sites), the highway noise (earplugs are said to be provided, but only when the office is open so if you arrive later you’re out of luck), proximity to shared spaces, and the indifference of ownership to establish clear tent boundaries this made for a wildly uncomfortable experience.
The other amenities (bathroom, kitchen, fire pits, etc.) are beautiful and well maintained, I’m sure staying in one of the cottages / tents is completely different.
If you’re looking for a campsite where you can setup a tent, have space from neighbors, and a little peace and quiet this is not the site to book.

Unfortunately the site was so small that there was not enough room for my tent or my car. Couldn’t find the host to get assistance. Had to get a last minute hotel as backup.

The advertising for HTR leaves out a major factor: traffic noise. We showed up, looked the situation over, listened to all the traffic noise, and decided we would take our chances somewhere else, namely up Hwy 128. The facility looked clean, bathrooms spotless, but intolerable noise for us.

The location was convenient to get to all the great shops and restaurants on the Main Street, and was a reasonable drive to Arches NP.
The amenities like the showers and kitchen are so clean and really beautifully done! The space had a great vibe and aesthetic. I’d definitely stay here again in the future.
The campground itself was close to the highway and other tent pads which means there can be some distracting noises at night. I’d recommend bringing some ear buds to block noise if that’s something that would bother you.

Overall We have a great experience, the pitch was so tinny (not enough for a RV) and closed to the road (with a lot of truck’s noise). In the pitch there was no table (and there was not space for ours). The bathroom was clean but far from the pitch.

The spot was great for a pop-up camper, and the amenities were perfect! Sean (our camp host) was extremely kind and helpful, even helping us find spots for swimming and stargazing. The bathrooms, showers and lounge area were very clean and much appreciated after the long days outdoors!

Excellent place to stay and cool down... the studio cottage, was clean, spacious (only 2 of us) and conveniently located. The amenities, such as the grill, and outside seating was great.
Last and pehaps the best was the Manager Shawn, a very cordial, helpful and courteous fellow.

Deluxe Loft Cottage
The loft cabins were awesome. Lots of room for my family of five. The kids loved the loft space, me and my wife got a room to ourselves. The kitchen space is good for cooking small meals, and the community kitchen offers even more cookware and space for larger ones.
The site is centrally located, 25 or so minutes from Arches and 40 to Canyonlands. Awesome star views. Moab was awesome and we would for sure stay at HTR again!

This was a good spot for our family of 4 to reset, get showers, and clean up after being on the road and camping more remote for the better part of 2 weeks. The amenities were great, friendly and helpful host. This location was easy to find and conveniently located.
If you’re looking for a quiet place to tent camp I would say there was a lot of road noise. It was worth it for us to be able to clean up and have amenities for the night. Overall, loved our stay here and was kid friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised. The site is very clean, has a public kitchen area that was well stocked and free to use (it had everything we needed and more: dishes, sinks, fridge, freezer, tv... You name it). The bathroom/showers are always very clean. All in all a great experience.

Very nice, clean and well equipped spot.
We met lot of great people with all same spirit, from US and Europe in the lodge at the AC with all equipment to stay chilled (because it could be very hot in Moab😋) : enjoying US parks from Utah.
Bathrooms, lodge fully equipped kitchen, large spot for our RV.
I would come back anytime.

The studio cottage at HTR Moab was a pretty great base for spending time in Canyonlands and Arches. The unit had basic kitchen stuff, a decent bed (we didn't need to use the bunk beds so not sure how those are), and a very small but perfectly sufficient toilet/shower room. Having AC was also so great since it was HOT in Moab. It's on the south end of town, so that adds a few minutes of driving time to get to the parks but not a big deal at all.
The only thing that wasn't great was that the coffee maker clearly hadn't been cleaned, and the rug in the unit we stayed in definitely needs to be washed. And, I would still stay there again.
