Camping with a View
Not recommend!
As the saying goes….”If you can’t say something nice, keep your mouth shut!” That being said, I think it’s important to put this out there. Just because you have a piece of land, doesn’t necessarily mean you need to share it with the rest of humanity. On man’s treasure in not Everyman treasure! This place was not conducive to camping. Although it is the desert, it is not the kind of desert you should camp in. Hot, windy, no protection at all, the only good view was the single view shown in the Hipcamp listing. The rest of the landscape was littered with trash, old abandoned trailers, junk….. The listing stated that there would be signs posted to find camp sites. No signs anywhere, not even sure we were where we should have been. It makes us reticent to use Hipcamp in the future. One would think that Hipcamp would at least send a drone over the area to confirm the listing specifics!

We enjoyed staying at Camille’s property. She was very friendly and respected our privacy. I would totally recommend this campsite to family and friends.

Camping with a View
Sites are just being established, and some amenities (water, toilet) weren't available yet when we stayed--but we knew all that going in, were prepared for it, and LOVED this place's proximity to Dinosaur Nat'l Monument. Would stay again, for sure.
