Arrowhead Campground

Great campsite with beautiful views! I stayed in mid November and had the whole place to myself. Site 4 was great. Site 5 would’ve also been a good choice. I passed by some of the other Hipcamps in the area and thought the sites at Arrowhead weren’t as on top of each other as the other ones. The outhouse was simple but very clean and was all you need. I would definitely stay here again!

Primitive Camping with warm hosts

Nice camp with enough space. Very good spot close to the Valley (walking distance). Friendly hosts. Three nice dogs are guarding the camp. Unforgetable dark sky with a wonderful milky way and an amazing view especially during sunset. Not easy to find (no sign next to the main road).

Simply and Magnificent!

The Arrowhead Campground is a short drive from the main highway. The best views of the Monuments, we even got to see the moon rise above them. Each site has a freestanding pergola (w/ one wall for wind control), a picnic table, and a firepit. There are two off the grid outhouses. Bring your own drinking and grey water. There is no running water available. Note: We stayed on site #7 were the owner's dog had visited us once in evening by the campfire and once in morning while we enjoyed a cup of coffee. He is a sweetheart who respects your space, but enjoys your company. He enjoys a little toss and catch with rocks or sticks. Don't worry he'll find the perfect rock or stick to toss. Thank you, Jeremy and family for sharing this special place with all us happy campers.

Outstanding views everywhere!

Site 3 - Arrowhead Campground

Jeremy is super accommodating, this is the 2nd time we have stayed with him. The views of the mesas and buttes from every campsite is outstanding. He is friendly and helpful (and if you would like a private tour of the backcountry of Monument Valley where only the Diné can go, he can definitely get you an A+ tour!). We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property.

On our way home from our trip through northern New Mexico, southern Colorado and back to Arizona we stopped for the night at Arrowhead Campground. The camp was clean, comfortable and quiet with breathtaking views. Jeremy's communication was excellent and got us right to our site. I would definitely recommend Arrowhead Campground and would go back myself!

No Fuss No Muss

No muss, no fuss. Just drive in and set up, break down and leave. Super close to Monument Valley Park, just 45 minutes or so from Valley of the Gods, and there's a Bashas supermarket in Keytana, a half hour away. Bring your own water. If you're not accustomed to coyotes yipping at night be prepared, but don't fret. All in all great spot and easy peasy.

I read somewhere in the reviews that site 4 had the best views, so that’s the one I booked. Whoever said that was right! The restrooms were outhouse style, but they were very clean and there was no bad smell. I never got a chance to interact with Jeremy, but I didn’t need anything during my stay anyway. Overall, it was awesome and I’d go back again!

Stargazing in Monument Valley

The most incredible views right in Monument Valley. More privacy than commercial campgrounds with an awning and picnic bench. Road well maintained, friendly dogs nearby. Clear skies at night, perfect for stargazing!

Jeremy’s camp is only minutes away from the entrance to Monument Valley, making it ideal for those who wish to visit the valley first thing in the morning. There are even great views from the camp of the nearby buttes. It’s clean, with good separation from nearby structures. And Jeremy is very easy to work with.

The two outhouses are really rough. No place on site to get water. Host's dogs roamed around and it worried me because I had my dog with me and didn't want trouble.

Site 5 - Arrowhead Campground

Simple campsite with a wall to block the usual wind. If you’ve camped in this area be prepared for the possibility of wind blowing the red sand around. It ended up in my tents which wasn’t an issue for me but could be for others. Super beautiful location. Right in the middle of monument valley.

I couldn't find the campsite, no signs or communications... I had to sleep in my car... I don't recommend it at all! Nearby, you have a Koa campsite that's easy to find! Very disappointed!

Extreamly nice campground!

This campground is in a beautiful spot. Note that it's a rustic campground: no electric, no water, no sewer, but you can't beat the view. Jeremy is an awesome host. He came around to every camper to make sure things were good. The sites are nicely spread out. I highly recommend Arrowhead.

This was a great camp. Quiet, spectacular views, clean toilet. The BEST part was Jeremy's dog! He came to visit our puppy and they fell in love. He's such a good boy that we almost kidnapped him.

360 degree views and quiet

Site 3 - Arrowhead Campground

Beautiful site. The 360 degree view was amazing. Sunsets over the monuments were gorgeous. The campsite is very quiet and there’s so many stars at night. We couldn’t get enough of just watching the sky. Porta potty was quite clean. The shelter at the campsite kept the rain off us while we made breakfast and enjoyed watching the storm. The owner’s very friendly dog hung out with us most of time and chased the spotlight from the flashlight. He was such a blast. There are 7 campsites -5 were occupied when we were there but everyone was pretty quiet and enjoying the silence and immense skyline It’s our first Hipcamp and I’m sold!

One of the best small RV Park

Simple spacious parking with table and grill. Relatively alone on the sandy graund. Only 8 places. Beautiful view on rocks in the evening. Probably the best. Owner can call his aunt to organize jeep excursion in the valley. Highly recommend this. RV are not allowed in the valley. Road is really bumpy and siting in open behind is really an experience.
