Retief is a great host and we had a very comfortable stay in #9 with our teardrop trailer. Clean showers and bathrooms were a plus! Retief has good tips for day hikes and knows local history. We plan to be back for more!

The perfect spot here! The restrooms and bath were so good, I loved the space we had between campsites and the bit further location for w1-3. There were coyote sightings but nothing bothered us at all, I would love to stay here again if we ever go back, thank you

I loved tent camping at this place!!! The hot showers and super clean bathrooms were the best after long hikes in Big Bend!! Definitely I will stay again here, is super close to downtown Terlingua and Big Bend entrance! I 100% recommend Retief’s land for a cool camping adventure, He is a super host!

Great host!!! Retired went above and beyond and changed me from site 10 to 5 without asking. 5 has a nice shade covering, picnic table, and electric hookup!
The bathrooms, showers, and dish area are also very nice!!

Close to the National Park. Nice campground. Nice to have access water, toilet, showers. W3 is a bit of a hike from the parking area.

Wonderful experience overall staying at Ratief’s! He was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed him. Had a question early on and he came to our site right away. The location is great as it is near Terlingua and the west side of big bend! Camp sites are nicely laid out and the boathouse and restrooms clean and were a must have after a day of hiking, My only recommendation would be to stay here with at least an suv as the roads into the sites can be rocky. Overall an awesome experience we will be back!!

Conveniently located just outside Terlingua, and 5 minutes from the park, the first things we noticed when we pulled in were the covered picnic table on a concrete slab, electrical outlet, and fire pit with swing-out grill. We used all three!
The central hub shack and deck had a clean & sanitary toilet (gotta love that blue water!), shower, sink, and dishwashing counter gave us everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. I must give the shower a 10 out of 10 - clean, spacious, and large diameter rain shower head with excellent pressure and instant hot water - none of us wanted our showers to end!!! Better than showers in most 4 star hotels - no joke!
Retief saw us off in the morning on his red Jeep and stopped to chat. Super nice guy! Highly recommend staying here, whether it’s for one day or a week!

Perfect location, beautiful views. Not crowded. It was the perfect home base for between hikes. Close to both The National Park and State Park. Bathrooms, showers. Definitely our new favorite place to stay when we plan a trip!

Our campsite was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The camp host was incredibly kind as he introduced himself right away, answered all our questions, and even helped us jump-start our car. The bathrooms were spotless and the showers were amazing, especially that hot water after a long day of exploring.
This was our second time staying here, and we’ll definitely keep coming back!

Willow Creek is a great camp in the perfect location. Just north of Terlingua. Running water, flushing toilets and even warm showers! The host is friendly and the views are amazing. I definitely plan to stay here agian in the future!

Awesome location. Just outside Study Butte so an easy drive to town and the park. Much closer than Terlingua Ranch. Bathrooms, showers, dishwashing station on site is so convenient and a very nice setup. Retief is an amazing host and a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommended if you are camping outside the parks.

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderfull time here. Convenient location, beautiful campsite, fantastic service. Retief is such a joy to talk to and helped us find some hidden gems in Big Bend and Terlingua. 10/10 experience.

I love this place with beautiful view and the dark sky, the sites are very clean with table, canopy and fire ring and water e electric. The comfort area is fantastic with sink, table, couch and very clean bathrooms and showers but the best is the service and care of Retief and Peter

This is a great spot convenient to the national park as well as the surrounding must see places. Retief takes great pride in persevering the land but also being a great host making sure his guests have a wonderful stay. Hot showers. Shade. Electric/water. Panoramic views and beautiful night skies.

This is an amazing campsite. My husband and I stayed here for 3 full nights in our camper car and enjoyed every night!
Retief is an amazing, kind and hospitable host. The campsite was clean, neat and quiet while still having a nice natural feel to it.
The bathrooms and showers were clean and had hot water for showers every night!
We saw coyotes and some quill while camping, were able to have a great campfire every night and saw the stars every night!
The campsite is close to the gas station, ghost town and the entrance to big bend national park so it made it very easy and comfortable to get around and explore!
Will definitely be back again and recommend anyone looking for a place to stay to choose Willow Creek Camping. Thank you Retief!
