Our property is meant to be calming, fun and relaxing. Camping with class is what we like to say. We are constantly upgrading our areas and property to be safe and entertaining. Our pond is charming and the focal point of the camping adventure. We have a paddle boat and an electric john boat to toodle around in. Want to go fishing? The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch. There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view. There is a riding/walking trail that is approximately 0.7 miles in distance and basically encompasses the perimeter of the back area. Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome. No side by sides please. You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers. Come see us and enjoy time away from the fast paced city! You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree. You may also see some deer, rabbits, squirrels and even armadillos. We are rustic but classy. Time to get away and relax! I can be reached at 850-503-1290 for questions. ** Special note - We have a very nice fireworks show on the property above the pond on the 4th of July weekend that all campers are invited to enjoy.

Armadillo Alley

99%
(56)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 50 · Vehicles under 35 ft
Site 7 – Armadillo Alley This site is the largest and furthest away. It sits in the very back of the property and has lots of room and openness. We’ve had groups of 50+ people stay out there in the past. It is breezy and relaxing. A calm and peace comes over you as you enjoy the natural atmosphere around you and have an open gaze at the night stars. This area is also known for having little critters (ie: armadillos) digging around at night every now and then and thus is what this site is named after. It has a brick fire pit, a picnic table, a small solar light on a pole and a trash container. Again there is access points to the riding/walking trail and a view of a deer feeder.

The Arizona

99%
(40)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 20 · Vehicles under 35 ft
Site 5 – The Arizona This is the first site on the back side of the separating fence. This area is quaint and quiet. It is festooned with metal cactus, real cactus and colorful salamanders and pots. It has a small solar light on a pole, a brick fire pit, a picnic table and a trash container. It connects to the riding/walking trail and sits a little ways from a deer feeder. In the mornings and right at dusk you may see several deer eating in the area (depending on the time of year).

The Favorite Spot

100%
(22)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 27 · Vehicles under 30 ft
Site 2 – The Favorite Spot This spot has been dubbed the “favorite” spot because it is the most centrally located spot on the property. You have the pond directly in front of you, Angel Island to your right, the gaming area to your left, the honey bees behind you and the shortest walking distance to the port-o-potties. This area is very open and has plenty of room for several campers (approximately 15 to 20) if needed. It has a fire pit, picnic table, bar high table and chairs and trash container. It has the best view and the easiest access of the pond!

Pirate's Cove

100%
(18)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 10 ft
Site 3 – Pirate’s Cove This is our smallest camp site. It is hidden behind a tree line and right next to the separating fence and riding/walking trail. It is themed with Pirate’s gold, boating décor, swords and a surprise or two. It’s a cozy little spot for two but can hold up to 4 comfortably. It has a fire pit, picnic table, two boney chairs and small drink table as well as a trash container. It also has a small solar light on a pole.

The Talking Trees

100%
(17)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 12 · Vehicles under 45 ft
This listing is for the Recreational Vehicle Area only.  Sites 2 through 7 must be accessed through the Morris Manor and Retreat listing. An excellent value if you're coming to see a Texas A & M athletic event or just visiting the area. Site 1 – The Talking Trees                This is an RV spot with a 30 amp connection.  It has a covered area for an RV as well and has a 58' x 47' fenced-in area.  Currently this is the only site with electricity, water and lighting specific to that spot.  It can be used by any camper, you do not have to have an RV.  The three main trees are adorned with tiki masks and the dead tree has the face of Captain Morgan, as we call him, who is said to talk in whispers at night.  This area is also next to a field full of cows who may come up to the fence to check things out from time to time.  There is a new decorated privacy fence and it has a charcoal grill, a new brick fire pit, a picnic table, a trash container and several chairs and a sitting stump.  You can also enjoy a partial view of the pond. 110 volt outlets as well as well water is supplied. No septic. ** Special note - We have a very nice fireworks show on the property above the pond on the 4th of July weekend that all campers are invited to enjoy.

The Barnyard

100%
(3)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 32 · Vehicles under 35 ft
Site 4 – The Barnyard This site is currently under remodel. The camping site is available but the themed area is being upgraded. It has an old barn with a small covered area and a cattle corral. Eventually the corral area will be where the main fire pit is located. This area has a small fire pit, a picnic table, two butterfly wick chairs and a drink table along with a trash container. This is a corner somewhat secluded area next to the separating fence and cow field. It has a fantastic view of the pond and all the other front area spots and is in walking distance to the Lazy Dais hammock area.
