Perfect place to bring the dogs!
My family and I had a great time! We really liked the fenced area for our dogs. It was so much better than dealing with leashes all the time. It made our time by the campfire so much more relaxed to have our dogs unleashed. There were enough places for our family of 5 to sleep and the main bed was very comfortable. We drove to Tyler state park during the day and had a great time renting paddle boats and kayaks. The host was great at communicating with me before and throughout the stay!

The Canaima @ Lake Palestine
The property is clearly well maintained, and the perfect place to take the kids and dogs for a little weekend getaway! We loved having the extra sunroom for the kids to use as their room, and the entire area fenced in so the dogs could roam free without getting out. The only advice I would give someone planning to stay here, is make sure to drive slow in the villages and be sure to have a truck! Roads to get there aren’t great, but that is at no fault to the host. We will definitely stay here again!
