Very nice campground. The big pegs and sledgehammer really helped. Firepit is heavy duty and wash bin is great.

Great spot! Running water, electric hookups, clean hot showers, clean restrooms, and insane views. Definitely recommend this spot. We took our truck with a tent on top.

Everything about the campsite was perfect! The effort that was put into the property really shows and is definitely appreciated. The community restrooms were clean and stocked, the showers were like a spa steam room. Everything was extremely comfortable

What a cool spot! Dirt road in was a lot of fun. Brought a 20ft camper to spot 10. No problems at all. Friendly folks. Would recommend. Will come back!

The site was very clean and very remote - allowing you to feel removed from the chaos of everyday life! The bathroom and shower area was well maintained and quick to access from each site. The view was gorgeous! Remember that the ground is rock, so be prepared for a little frustration to get ur stakes into that ground!

This site was perfect. Had all the amenities, showers are really nice with plenty of hot water. Away from the crowds but close to Terlingua to eat and site see. Would definitely stay again.

My dad and I loved this campground as a way to round out our Big Bend trip. It’s convenient to both the national and state park, and the amenities can’t be beat—WiFi, huge showers, clean bathrooms, and some items for purchase (including firewood). We loved site 3 as well—it overlooked a tiny gulch and was set comfortably far from the other sites that you had privacy. David was attentive and quick to respond to our questions. Other reviews are correct in that the long gravel drive in can be a bit bumpy (my Promaster is admittedly not made for off-roading), but if you take it slow it’s perfectly fine. The only hiccup we experienced was hammering tent stakes into the ground—you can get a few inches, but you’ll likely eventually hit rock; luckily the topography of our site offered some buffer against the wind as it was set down lower than the sites behind us. We both agreed we would come back in a heartbeat if we ever visited the area again.

Really nice spot if you happen to be out of luck on getting a reservation inside the park. Loved how everything was so conveniently set up here the showers and restrooms were nearby the fact that it has a fire pit and an amazing view of stars at night. Also many of the restaurants are close by overall I would definitely camp at this place again highly recommend.

Everything was great at The Bus Stop. You get your own designated campground, and they have thought of everything you need. Water, power, firepit, grill (and wood available for purchase), restrooms and showers too! The wi-fi was excellent as well. I even noticed that there was a little spot by the restrooms that had a car jack, jumper cables, and a power boost kit in case your battery dies and you need a jump. Would stay again for sure!

Everything went great from arrival to departure. Location was easy to find using Google Maps and was clearly marked. Water and picnic table at the site was a huge plus! Showers and restrooms were clean. Easy 15 minutes into town or so. Star gazing and sunset Mountain views were amazing. Would recommend!

Bus Stop is a slice of heaven in the Chihuahuan Desert. Very quiet, with nice hot showers, and beautiful scenery. Also has functional wifi, which is very useful. Would recommend !

Site 2 - The Bus Stop
We tent camped at the Bus Stop Campground for three nights while exploring Big Bend National Park. The campground was easy to find and check in was simple. Fair warning, the road coming in is unpaved for a few miles and can be a bit rough, but it's fine in a pickup or SUV. The amenities were great with a fire pit, grill, picnic table, electric hookups, and water with wash basin at each site. The wifi was a great touch since we had no cell service. The bathhouse was well equipped, and being able to get a hot shower after a long day in the park was so nice. The heavy duty stakes provided at each site were especially helpful for keeping our tent anchored in the rocky ground. Firewood was available for sale as well. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we're ever out this way!

This is a lovely little campground, close to everything you want and Terlingua. It is very well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have hot water with great pressure. Also, the host were very responsive. Five stars would recommend.

This is our 2nd stay at site 10 at the Busstop. Just a perfect stay. Flush toilets, hot roomy showers, fireplace, and nice flat site. Perfect for our little teardrop.
