Site 10 - Bus Stop Camp

If you’re going to the BigBend area, I would recommend camping at the BusStop. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Each site was setup perfectly. David greeted us upon arrival and gave us good instructions. The bathrooms are super nice. We will be back.

Site 6 - Bus Stop Camp

Beautiful with insane views.

Such a beautiful campground. The grounds are well-maintained, the bathhouse is nice, clean, and smells good, and the views are gorgeous. Really great for stargazing as well. Only 20 mins or so from the maverick junction entrance of Big Bend National Park!

Site 7 - The Bus Stop

Best option in the Terlingua Area.

Best shower in a campground I've encountered in 3 months on the road. Also, every site has electricity, which is good in a cold snap if say your heater broke. Lovely settings in the desert, convenient to visit both of Big Bends parks. Quiet at night, and cheaper than anything else that offers half as much. Very clean restrooms. Wish I could have stayed longer. 11/10.

Bus Stop

I had a lovely time tent camping at the bus stop! It’s a great location to explore Big Bend and close to Terlingua. I felt spoiled having electricity, WiFi and hot showers after long hikes. Having the heavy duty stakes was helpful as well. The stars at night were my favorite part! Both of the gentlemen running the camp were great with communication and very friendly. Will definitely be back again, thanks for a peaceful stay!
