Treehouse Cabin
The Treehouse Cabin was absolutely amazing! I took my mom and sister for a girl's weekend and we really couldn't have had a better time! Upon arriving, we met the very accommodating Katie, who talked to us about the property and gave us a map that came in handy the whole stay. Katie will be the go-to person should you have any questions during your stay! The Treehouses are tucked back in the woods and only accessible by foot. My family doesn't camp very often, so they weren't used to packing light – luckily the walk from the car isn't too far and there are donkey carts provided to carry all your belongings from the car to the cabin. We unpacked, made our beds (be sure to bring all your own bedding or sleeping bags), and headed down to Driftwood Cove for some river relaxation. While you aren't allowed to swim on this property, the river it beautiful and provides a serene location to read, have a picnic, or fish. We enjoyed cooking breakfast over the fire pit and then heading down to the water lookout to eat it – we even saw a porcupine and two foxes! This property is wonderful for big or small families, a couples getaway, girl's trip, and so much more. It is about a 15 minute drive from some local restaurants and a gas station should you need some last minute snacks. We had dinner at Angels (a local restaurant) on our second night and had a blast! There was great food, live music, and ample outdoor seating where we could enjoy the cool evening breeze. I highly recommend booking this property!
