I def give the site 5 stars BUT with a heavy disclaimer. The Serenity spot specifically does NOT have easy car access. It is most ideal for a backpacking set up. So if you have your coolers or camp grill or depend heavily on your car for storage you should pick one of the other spots at the site. With the right pack, however, the Serenity spot is an absolutely LOVELY. Tucked away from others and the owners and shaded, it’s the perfect place to get away for some quiet time in nature.

we had a great time camping at Sunset Hill! Tonya and her husband were great hosts, showing us everything when we got there and available for questions, but overall giving us our own space to hang out and enjoy the site. the shady tent spot was perfect for the weather, and the location being so close to Turkey Creek rec area was awesome for easy lake access. having a full bathroom with a shower was a plus! We’ll be back for sure!

My fiancee and I had a wonderful time camping here! The Overlook campsite has a place to pitch a tent and watch the sunset, which was beautiful every night! Tonya was a joy to work with and a very welcoming host. We will definitely be returning in the future :)

This was a really nice spot to *try* to introduce my kids to camping. Tonya was accommodating and gave great directions. My kids are unfortunately not campers, so I’ll come back when it’s just me. 😊

What a beautiful sunset and property! This was my first night trying out my new Skycamp mini from ikamper and I couldn’t have picked a better location.
The owners were friendly, communicative but allowed my privacy. WiFi worked great. Cell reception was great. They had water available as well.
They had a bucket toilet if needed. I brought my dog along and they had dogs but kept them in their house. The camp sits above and away from the owners house and you barely notice they are there.

Sunset Hill Corner Camp
It was a beautiful scenic sight. Very peaceful the sunset and sunrise was amazing. Needed a place to camp out last minute and it was a perfect spot to get some rest on short notice.

Sunset Hill Country Camp made me feel secure, safe, and comfortable! They are on the renovation and upgrade! Highly recommended!

Tonya was super communicative and the spot was fantastic. The view right outside the tent made the whole experience for me - at sunset, at night, and in the morning, fantastic. Wasn’t as isolated as i’d prefer but it wouldn’t keep me from staying again! Unbeatable for the price. Having Wi-Fi access was the cherry on top.

Tonya was such a sweet host and this spot is so special! The view here is amazing, it’s peaceful, and the mockingbirds are so fun to listen to in the mornings! Thank you Tonya for being such a gracious host! She even tested out the wifi for me to ensure I could take zoom calls from the spot ☺️
