Beautiful area close to tubing rivers, New Braunfels and Gruene . The Swimming hole was the highlight for us ! Great camping spot ! The hosts were great , making sure our stay went well. Felt very safe as the property is gated. Surprisingly very little bugs/mosquitos in area where we camped

If you’re looking to visit San Antonio or to just relax this is a great place to stay! We stayed here for a few days in the rv and it was great. We had our 4 dogs and the views from where you park the RV was beautiful! We came in the dark and it was difficult to find the area but during the day it’s easy to maneuver. A very safe area and we felt safe the entire time. There’s a private swimming area ( was beautiful and fun for the dogs) cows are just by the swimming area. Such a beautiful place to camp at. We went to Guadalupe river ( a MUST see) if you want a days of swimming with the dogs or kids! Would return!

We stayed at Hill Country Views on Farm #1 from May 2nd to May 4th and loved the peaceful, scenic setting. Even though we got hit with heavy rain the first night, the gravel road and well-maintained site made things manageable, and the ground dried up quickly around the road. The view is incredible, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. We camped in an Aliner Evolution 15 travel trailer and had easy access to electric and water hookups, with clean bathrooms just a short walk away. The host was friendly but gave us plenty of space, which we appreciated. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.. tent campers, RVers, or overlanders with rooftop tents will all feel right at home here.

Field of Dreams campsite
This was a great camping spot! We appreciated Michelle's communication and flexibility. The views (especially the sunset) were amazing and while there were other guests staying on the property, we had a secluded spot that made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. The bathrooms were a huge plus as well. The swimming hole was impressive although a little chilly for the March weather, but such a beautiful spot to relax. We enjoyed our stay!

Bird Haus Farms is perfectly located for Hill Country glamping. The campsite is tucked away from the highway below, but it still has great access to the fun towns all around. We enjoyed visiting the bars/wineries/restaurants/creameries in Spring Branch, Blanco, Bulverde, and San Antonio. We also took advantage of the fresh eggs from the host. The owners were friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to park our camper in the field rather than the designated RV site so that our sewer hose would drain down hill rather than uphill. In a perfect world, there would have been more grass, but I know from personal experience how hard it is to keep grass alive in Texas.

We enjoyed the camping with our travel trailer at the RV site. Great view and easy hook-ups. Also, secluded and still has quick access to stores & eateries. Hosts were very nice, responsive, & helpful. The kids loved the swimming hole.

This was a great spot with a great view! It was Fall and we had great access to Gruene and Boerne. Our kids had plenty to explore so we enjoyed our time at the site. The hosts were nice and accommodating.

The location is gorgeous and has tons of potential, I see they have built cabins and they were all occupied which is great. However as far as the campsite itself it was pretty underwhelming, it was a construction site (for some future project) the site itself had new sod that didn’t stick and was completely dead and muddy, tractor tracks everywhere and bits and pieces of demolition debris sprinkled around. Not what I pictured as a campsite charging $117/night. Nothing like the posted pictures. The view however was beautiful, and with the right company the shortcomings were quickly overlook .

Relaxing staycation. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Bird Haus Farms RV Campsite, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The campsite offers a unique and refreshing container pool, making it an ideal spot for cooling off during the hot TX summer days. The availability of an RV power hook-up was a great convenience, especially for electric vehicle owners, as long as you have a 50v adapter.
One of the highlights of our stay was the privacy and the lovely views offered by the campsite. It provided a serene and peaceful environment, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. The tranquility was truly rejuvenating.
I would like to extend my appreciation to Michelle, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Upon our arrival, she went out of her way to bring us their delicious, fresh chicken eggs.
While the toilet/container bathroom was out of commission during our visit, it didn't significantly impact our experience. We were out exploring various locations in the Texas Hill Country for most of the second day. Bird Haus Farms RV Campsite had two port-o-potty alternatives available, which served their purpose adequately while we were at the campsite.
Although the swimming hole was affected by the drought and had low water levels, it was still a beautiful spot.

2nd time staying here with our RV and just as great this time around! Beautiful little spot! Our little ones LOVES the container pool and our pups love the swimming hole on the property. Right from the start Michelle was available to help me find my camping spot and encourage me setting up our new family pop-up camper. The site was absolutely breathtaking. My kids and Labradors loved the watering hole and the container pool was a refreshing end to a perfect day. Best staycation ever! We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our day on Michelle's property! The drive up to our camping spot was a little steep, but we have a 4 wheel drive so no problem for us. I give MORE than 5 stars for the beautiful view that looks out over the sunset and for the amazing swimming hole (shared with their Airbnb guests) and shipping container pool. You can tell they have done so much work on this property. We really enjoyed using these areas as well as the open field/flat grassy space to play soccer or frisbee. I would also give more than 5 stars to Michelle for being a great communicator and very friendly. As for the actual parking spot. I would give 4 stars for the parking spot with the hook-ups. They are in the process of improving this area, so I know this will get better, but for now, you are on a flat caliche (gravel, powdered stone) area with construction equipment and shipping containers. The caliche isn't idea because the fine powder dust makes everything dirty, especially when you are wet. No biggie, just not ideal and something good to know ahead of time so you can be prepared and keep your camper clean. The area in front of the shipping container pool has grass which is really nice but too far away from the hook-ups to utilize for parking the camper next to it. We kept our dog on leash and picked up after him, but there was a stray dog that came around a few times. I picked up after it also. We also saw a fox! I can't wait to see what improvement they make and we will be back soon.

Great place for our first Camper trip. Full hookups are available to give you all you need for setting up camp. The night sky and beautiful views were amazing. Our dog loved it too. He fell in love with the cows on the property.

What a perfect piece of paradise! My husband and two sons had such a great time at the Bird Haus. Michelle communicated well and greeted us with fresh eggs, the farm was easily accessible off of 281, and the spacious site had a great view. My boys were particularly thrilled with the friendly young cows who visited occasionally, and the swimming hole provided a dreamy vista at sunset and plenty of fun. We all agreed - this might have to be “our new spot!”
