These three cabins are hand-built, with families in mind, to share with other families. They are located on Houston County Lake. Stewart Cove is perfect for people who are looking to unplug from the outside world and reconnect with their families and nature. The property is perfect for child-friendly adventures or romantic getaways. Enjoy this peaceful lake view surrounded by beautiful pine trees. The Property: - Secluded lake cabins on Houston County Lake. 2-acre property - Panoramic windows of Houston County Lake from the living room - Deck with an incredible view and surrounded by beautiful pine trees - City water and electric Things to do: - We have a Covered Pavilion with a basketball hoop and pickleball court - 60-foot waterside from the large hill into the lake (Weather permitting) - Swimming in the lake - Fishing in the lake - Bird watching (We have eagles, blue herrings, pelicans, etc.) - Several kayaks with adult and child lifejackets free to use - Cement deck near the lake with cafe lights - BBQ pit, bench swing, and picnic tables - Sandbox for kids - The fire pit is great for smores - You can pull your boat right up to the shore Other Things to note: - The owner's primary residence is two lots over and private. Things to Bring: - Sunblock - Bug spray - Outdoor towels - Coffee Sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided for each cabin. You'll need to bring your outdoor towels for swimming. The last 5 miles of the drive are on a "Red Dirt Road" and it can be bumpy or even slippery if it's rained recently. I've never heard of any issues in any vehicles but it's a county road. You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :) Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees, making the rough 5-mile ride worth it.

Wonderful summer trip!

The cabin was wonderful! We stayed in cabin 2, me and my cousin, and it was all clean and homie. Many things to do and such a pretty area with creeks to explore! Water was great, we had so much fun on the slide and used the kayaks everyday! The grill works well for burgers, and the beds were nice. Everything was just great! We had a great time, and the host helped make it more wonderful! Very attentive and nice! Me and my cousin have never been on a trip on our own, but hers we felt plenty safe !

Having fun while feeling at home.

This trip was unexpected and unplanned. When Beryl caused a power outage, we needed to find suitable accommodation for our small family. The cabin we found ended up being a perfect fit for our needs. We felt comfortable and at ease, especially with our teenager enjoying the outdoor activities and high-speed internet. The host was welcoming and hospitable, making our experience all the more enjoyable during a challenging time. Overall, this cabin provided a great vacation spot for us amidst unexpected circumstances.

Perfect for family or adults!

AWESOME. The kayaks and water slide were a huge with our 5 boys. Never a dull moment and they couldn’t get enough of swimming in the lake. A major selling point for us was having plenty of kayaks close by and ready for us to use at a moments’ notice. The cabin was clean and of course the kids all thought it was the coolest place. Environment was quiet, clean and ready to take us on. Pier and banks were great for fishing. Great view of the lake from both bedroom and loft for waking up to and also living room for eating and relaxing. The hosts were super accommodating for when we needed anything and were able to answer any questions promptly. We all felt very safe and well taken care of. This place is perfect for family vacations or couple’s retreat! Can’t wait to go back as soon as we can!

Weekend Get-away!

The views are amazing. The cabins are clean and tidy. Gene is available whenever you might need him! Absolutely hands down a great place to stay. This was our second time staying and we loved it!!
