Uncle Gary's Pull-Thru Sites
iT WAS VERY NICE TO STAY NEAR OTHER MILITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT PEOPLE AT THIS PLACE. THE DIRECTIONS TO GET THERE WERE SIMPLE AND DIRECT, AND HOOKUPS WERE EASY. IT WAS A PLEASANT STOP, NO PROBLEMS. WE WILL STOP HERE AGAIN IF WE ARE ON THIS SIDE OF TEXAS...

Turtle House lots w/ full hook-ups
It's a rustic and mellow spot with some cool animals hanging around. Occasional truck noise from the road, but it was mostly quiet with a view of the night sky. Arrive stocked up because there is no shopping nearby. I would stay here again if coming through Eagle Pass.

Hosts were very generous and welcoming with their property. There was also plenty of space for privacy as well. Their animals were well cared for and very friendly.

We camped for the eclipse and the owners really went above and beyond preparing bathrooms, showers, trash removal and even food for guests! They obviously put in a great deal of work and my family really enjoyed our stay.

It was a really well-organized event for the solar eclipse, enough land to accommodate the caravans in groups of maybe 10 scattered around, really good entertainment and a nice breakfast at the end. You just have to make sure you have a vehicle, even if it's just a bike, a 20-minute walk through the sun is a bit of a deterrent. However, there are places in the center and places further away.

Very good hospitality! Theresa and Orlando are top notch people doing whatever they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The property is a bit of a rescue ranch with many different types of animals. I definitely recommend this camp!

Theresa was helpful in guiding my Shuttle Bus to a level gravel full hookup Pad. Her instructions were spot on. The gravel road in was smooth but going out, after a winter rain fall, the road was a little slippery from the muddy sand. We had no problem though. If staying close to Laredo, I would recommend staying here.

What a blessing to have a warm, secure place available in the desert outside of Eagle Pass! Theresa was generous in providing a tour of her propery and introducing me to her adopted children and rescued animals. A very beautifully designed ranch and home. The cabin was warm, the bed was comfortable, and the nights were quiet. That being said, the place was pretty dirty. This didn't bother me much, as the price is fantastic, but it may bother others. All in all is was enough of a value that I renewed for a second night. If ever I pass through that region again, I would stay there again.

Theresa & Orlando were super welcoming and hospitable. Theresa even introduced us to the animals they have on their property and told us she plans to create an animal habitat to make available to school field trips in the future. We had a great stay and love how passionate they are about sharing their place with others!

10 Point Turtle Ranch was a wonderful place to stay and many things to do. Go and stay instead of those other boring RV spots and enjoy the wonderful country.

absolutely incredible people & hosts with amazing kids
theresa & orlando have created a wildly fun, informative, and out of the ordinary environment for guests to enjoy on a spacious ranch
there’s catch/release fishing, hiking trails, shooting range, and plenty of animals to engage with— my favorite being giant turtles you can feed— as well as other activities
all the amenities are there. private bathroom/shower, cold a/c, cable in a spacious apartment
will definitely be staying again soon
