It was a private area with picnic table and solar lights/ plug in lights and an easy walk/drive to town. I felt very safe and despite a local dog barking many hours into the evening, it was very relaxing! I would recommend it and return!

Sweet camp spot close to downtown Marfa! We enjoyed sitting outside at the picnic table and taking in the scenery. The walk downtown was easy. Definitely recommend!

Nice host. Good communication. Good hookups. Clean site. Only clarification I would offer is the site is fenced on 3 sides but open to the front with very close neighbors on all sides. Having your pet "off leash" here would be difficult without them getting involved with neighboring pets.

It was a very nice and convenient location with good 30 amp power, water and sewer connections right there. The site was level and easy to access. Would definitely stay here again when I get back to Marfa!

We thought this was a great place to stay, you’re just outside of the hustle and bustle. It’s a moderate walk or a very short drive to the shops. You’ve got a good amount of space for your vehicles and pets. Steven was very responsive. We would definitely camp here again.

This was a great place to stay. We had just spent a week in Big Bend and were on our way to New Mexico. We'd heard all about Marfa and thought it would be a great midway point.
The site includes a lovely xeriscaped garden in the back with quirky touches. There is an amazing covered picnic table with lights for a relaxing meal. The hosts Steven and Erin were very helpful with suggestions for dining and the mundane like laundry. Full hook-ups which were appreciated given the warm days. Marfa is not big so it was easy to get to anywhere you'd want to go in town. We would suggest driving the relatively short 30 minutes to Davis Mountain State Park for a hike. We highly recommend and would love to stay again.

We were excited to stay, but when we arrived we were disappointed to see that the camping area did not look like the pictures. The nice gravel area was heavily overgrown with grasses and weeds. I think if the host put some effort into keeping it up it would have been fine, but having to tramp through knee high overgrown grass/weeds (some had stickers) detracted from this site. The hookups all worked fine and the shelter over the outdoor table was nice.

The camp was cozy, had everything we needed. There was a lovely, sturdy picnic table and benches. Marfa was exceedingly hot when we were there so we spent most the time in the cool camper in the evening. Morning was lovely and cool. The sunrise was beautiful from the camper.

Exactly what you would imagine in Marfa, TX. Rough around the edges but well apportioned camp site. Convenient (about 1 mile) to all the downtown activities and very nice neighbors.

Very clean site, not too far from 'town' and quiet except for some barking dogs. The area is all gravel (which is preferable to the desert scrub it sits on) so moving coolers and small popups like mine around the property is a little more challenging, but the minimalist landscaping is well done and the hooks ups are new and easily accessible.
The other RV parks in the area are not as clean or private but they do have more facilities (bathroom, sewer).

This was a great spot in a great location! The property is cute & quirky. Plenty of room for our 2 small dogs and 2 yr old to run around when at the trailer. Would definitely return when heading back West :)

We really enjoyed Steven's space!! Lots of room to spread out, very clean, hookups were easy, and back-in/leveling went well. (Barely any leveling was needed.) Perfect place...quieter section of town, but easily walkable/bikable to everything in the town square. There's also a covered picnic table!!

This place is adorable! Steven has put a lot of thought into this space. He is also super friendly and helpful. It was so fun to pull up and be offered a beer or to have a sip of tequila with him:) We also enjoyed running into him around town. Very cool dude!
There is ample space, a cute fire pit, and it’s very close to everything! We rode our bikes everywhere but could’ve easily walked.
Thank you Steven, we will be back and we are telling all of our friends!

What a great little spot!! It is not big but it is perfect for the people that want to explore Marfa. We had little motorcycles and it took us 2 to 3 min to get to downtown. Walking would probably be 20 min.
Hookups are easy and well placed, backing in a 38 footer with a basket on the back - at night- was easy. If you are bringing a big rig in, use main streets to get in. Some of the side streets have major dips that a bus will high center on.

Wonderful spot 1/2 mile from the Marfa Square. We enjoyed the walk up Lincoln Street into town, so easy! The compound was easy to hook up our 15 foot rv and the place is super clean. We will be back.
