Great quite spot that is very private. They've thought of everything to make it a relaxing break. Super helpful and thoughtful. Cant wait to go back!

Loved the isolated area. Very peaceful and quiet out there. The drive was nice and the environment it was in was amazing. Would come back again!

Had a wonderful time this weekend soaking in the pool, chilling with the dogs, and chilling inside and out with the amazing WiFi while it rained down. The owners were quick to respond with new firewood and had a nice bag of candied pecans waiting for us. This was the weekend we were looking for and so private. Totally as advertised and the deck with the roof over was perfect for the times it did rain so we could still be outside. Would totally recommend this place again and will be back for sure. Oh and there is a Buc-ee's only a few miles away so that was great for amazing snacks and a quick breakfast when we didn't want to cook.

We stayed over Labor Day weekend from Friday to Monday and as someone who has had 4 days off in two months I was looking forward to nothing but relaxing. This was the medicine I needed! We got to the spot and in the gate with zero problems. It is exactly as advertised and the pictures tell you exactly what you are getting. It was so quiet, beautiful, and serene that I immediately relaxed. The camper is great and equipped with everything you would need. We over packed because we've had other experiences that weren't as equipped with what we needed but this was perfection. We put bird seed I the feeder the first night and by the next day we had all sorts of birds, we had a sweet armadillo who visited us everyday, and two barred owls who decided to have a conversation each evening. Humming birds all over the place, fireflies, and just so calming. When it rained we were able to not only stay inside and stream our shows but also WiFi was on point so I was able to sit outside and watch on my iPad. The covers deck was also perfect for that while it rained. The pool was clean and a great dip to cool off. The only thing with that is that it was a little hard to get in and out for a shorty like me. We had a blast and will absolutely rent this again!! When we needed more firewood the owners came ASAP and brought more. Very kind and hey, we did hit up Buc-ee's that is only miles away for fun and great snacks. Highly recommend for quiet, silent weekend!

I recently rented the Airstream for one night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and it was more than amazing!! Emmelyn is so responsive and helpful, and the place itself is so cozy and nice. There was obviously alot of thought that went into it, with the inclusion of things we may have forgotteb like toohbrushes, etc. 11/10, I can’t recommend enough! Such a nice little get away from the city!

The property was fantastic and the hosts were super responsive and helpful! We unfortunately got stuck in the mud getting up the driveway (definitely try to go with a 4WD vehicle if you can) but Emmelyn was super fast to respond when we messaged and helped make sure we were taken care of. We opted to park at the end of the driveway by the road, but the area was super remote and we felt safe leaving our car there, and walking the 200 yards or so to the property. Once we were there we had a fantastic weekend relaxing with our new dog. The pool was refreshing, the AC in the Airstream was strong and the property was very relaxing. We’d definitely stay again (but we’d rent an SUV next time around 😂)

I stumbled upon Riveted Retreat while searching for a getaway from Houston, and it was the perfect surprise! Tucked away in charming Midway, this cozy spot has everything you need to unwind. I highly recommend it!

This three day retreat was pretty close to perfect. Everything was as expected, exactly as advertised, plus there were some unexpected bonuses. Very comfortable, clean and tidy. It was pleasantly ever quieter than I had expected, especially at night. During the daytime, I heard /saw many different and unique birds in the trees around the property. In fact, I counted nearly a dozen unique species with the help of an app (I’m not normally a birder) and the terrific WiFi onsite! This is the perfect place for restful relaxation in a quiet & tranquil setting. I plan to return often!

It’s a perfect couple retreat, especially if you’re needing to wind down and just enjoy the serenity of nature and each other. Emmelyn reached out to us and checked on our first day. This place is where you can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. Making a fire to make s’mores was fun; the hostess provided plenty of firewood. A new addition is the suspended swings near the fire pit, so much fun. This was my second time here and I’ll definitely return. It has everything you need to prepare your meals and enjoy a good cup of coffee. The place keeps getting better each time.

This little space is exactly what I was looking for. It was secluded and clean and warm inside (outside was chilly and rainy) so it was definitely cozy. Communication with the host was great and she let me have an early check-in time. I didn’t get to adventure much because of the weather but I will definitely be back so I’ll have another chance. There’s coffee/tea, a hot plate, bathroom amenities and a super cute, clean shower. If o could afford it I’d come once a month to detox from my city life. Its a wonderful place!!!

This classic Airstream is adorable and very comfortable. We extended a night for three nights stay. The hostess was quick to answer any questions. The bed is super comfy and the hot shower is amazing with great pressure. Everything you need is there, from cooking necessities to great tasting coffee. I’m definitely returning to enjoy the camp fire outside.
