A peaceful and serene tent site nestled in the woods next to the Trinity River and a National Wildlife Refuge. Want to camp and fish? Just win the TPWD draw hunt for the refuge? This is your spot! No need to share the space—this spot is all yours, and the locals are far enough away not to bother you. Experience raw nature, gaze at the stars, and, if you’re lucky, spot some deer. Relax by the river. Cook and unwind by the campfire. Hang a hammock, pitch a tent, sleep in, and enjoy. PLEASE RESPECT the land and water and CLEAN UP after yourselves. Leave only your footprints! 🏕️✌️ The dirt road entrance can be muddy depending on recent weather. The property is wooded, but not too densely forested, with a small clearing for parking. Corners of the property are marked by orange tape on trees. There is a lightly cleared path from the parking spot to the common camp and fire area. The back of the property is open to the refuge. The barbed wire fence is deteriorated and has not yet been re-established by [full organization name]. This is raw land with no amenities—no electricity and no water.
