We are set in massive cypress trees, wildlife, and amazing starry nights perfect for stargazing, primitive camping, swimming, fishing, tubing, and campfires with availability to electricity, water, a resting pavilion, tv, outdoor cooking gas grills, bbq pits, restrooms, showers, dog park and high speed wifi if needed. Just jump in with your tube and float to Happy Hollow or Garner State Park! 11 RV areas as well with full connectionsCamp on 15 acres along the Frio River in Rio Frio, Texas in the heart of the Texas Hill County with a beautiful winding river along big Cypress trees, birds and wildlife from the majestic crystal clear spring fed river with family, friends, loved one, your dog or no one. Perfect space to unwind, swim, tube to Happy Hollow, Garner State Park or Concan, watch the stars at night, many areas to choose from grassy open areas, to tree shades spots, along the river on rock island, or near the pavilion with restrooms, hot showers, tv, and high speed wifi. Several communal bathrooms on the property. 16 campsites with electricity /water plus primitive campsites: toilets are accessible. 11 RV spots with 30/50 amp, septic, water, and wifi available. Boondocking and primitive camping available along the river if you bring your own composting toilet.

Rio Frio RV Park and Campgrounds

This place is the best site I have been to yet! Quiet and serene; beautiful natural surroundings. Fall asleep to the sounds of the babbling Frio River. Carlos is very kind, accommodating your every need! There is RV sites, and a very private primitive camp area. (my recommendation). As a solo female camper, I felt safe and looked after. This is an awesome hidden gem!

Rio Frio RV Park and Campgrounds

My family and I loved the beauty and privacy of Daryl’s land. The hospitality was great, Jonathan provided fantastic support during our check in. We used a large inflatable hot tent with wood stove that made the camping very cozy, the landscape was gorgeous. The access to the river is easy and surrounded by trees and wildlife. The fact of the dog could stay off leash was also very good. I certainly recommend and have plans to come back.

My wife and grandson enjoyed tent camping at Daryl's campground. They had RV slots, water and electricity. Restrooms were close. Grandson loved feeding the fish in the local river. It was quiet. Lots of shade.
