Secluded forest setting close to hikes, bikes and lakes! Our two cabins are unique and functional. 1,000s of guests have found it to be just the right amount of nature mixed with the close proximity to several small towns and municipalities. Our property offers an outdoor pergola, firepit, prayer path, seasonal pond, garden, chickens and ducks plus lots of wildlife including birds (both rare and native), deer, racoons, possums, coyotes and amphibians. When we moved here in 2017, we wanted to cohabitate with the land. So, we chose to not use any chemicals including pesticides, herbicides or cleaning chemicals in the cabins. Over the last 9 years we've seen the tree frogs flourish and take care of the mosquito populations. We've watched as the foliage thrives even in harsh climate temperatures. Our soil is amazing! We maybe a small plot of land but you'll enjoy seeing nature at its' best! Then, the bonus is: we are located 10-45 minutes from all sorts of hikes, bikes and waterways including Mineral Wells State Park, The new state park in Pilot Point, Cartwright Lake, Chandor Gardens, Clark Gardens and Possum Kingdom Lake.Nestled in a ravine and surrounded by towering oak trees, 30 min. from the DFW area, The Casa Estiva is truly a place of natural refuge providing a good dose of peace for the soul. Imagine awakening to song birds all around you. Then, when evening arrives, enjoy the quiet sounds of night. Built for the nature enthusiast with modern charm, The Casa Estiva is the magical stay you've been looking for! Located in a ravine with 14 steps down, we call The Casa Estiva an "inverted treehouse". Built on 3 foot stilts with an outdoor porch partial covered, there's plenty of comfort mixed with outdoor living.
