Under the Mother Tree
Under the Mother Tree was the perfect spot. Its close to the running river that my kids and i enjoyed during these still warm days in October. The host was hospitable and happy to interact when approached. It’s a beautiful piece of property with all the beautiful nature to take in.
While visiting the farm animals a couple of male horses were able to run free. My son was allowed to walk a goat and i got to hold and love on the little lamb. We fed the pigs and pet some of the horses in their stall. It was fun!…
Until we entered a females stall. I had just walked in and heard the host trying to not let one of the young male horses in the stall but he bumped into my son while forcing his way through the gate before my children could enter. As i turned arround to see what was happening (because i thought my children were right behind me), the young male horse had already made it through the gate running full force and I was directly in his path. He knocked me down while stepping on my ankle. My son’s shoulder is quite sore and I ended up with a sprained ankle/ knee, a splinter in my shoulder from the fence and a few bumps n bruises.
It was an accident. I know she felt bad and surely learned from this experience. However, the hosts negligence could’ve turned fatal.
Luckily it didn't and my 3 children still have their mother arround to experience more adventures with… just not with horses.

RV Hookup with farm views
The hosts were responsive and helpful for arrival! The rv spot was roomy and easy to pull into and plug in. It was a short walk down to the private creek where I enjoyed the sunset. The setting is definitely rustic, but with privacy you won’t get at rv parks. Only thing to keep in mind is their Wi-Fi picked up sitting on the deck, but isn’t consistent enough to rely on - I did have service on AT&T and could hotspot though :) which they told me ahead of time in a message.

Great Host
I didn't realize when I booked it that it would fall on a record breaking heat day , as I made the reservation well in advance. I was a bit concerned, but I tried to prepare as much as possible. The host did an excellent job, and the trail ride was absolutely amazing. The place is very family-friendly, and I highly recommend considering some of the extra activities they offer. I will definitely be bringing the rest of the crew. Next time I come.

Beautiful property
Beautiful private tent campsite, had a feeling of being deep in the woods while also feeling super safe, was surrounded by beautiful trees and a river was just a 30 second walk, in fact we could hear the water flowing all night (so peaceful) being on the property surrounded by horses was another plus in our camping experience! Would definitely recommend!
