Restful camping in the woods of Music Springs - The most peaceful place in East Texas, where the touch of God runs through the woods. A place of refuge and a place to remember for many who visit. Come to East Texas and rest your soul at the peaceful grounds of Music Springs. Encountering the peace by staying at our camp grounds is unique, like no other place. This will mean closer encounters with the weather and with sounds of wildlife. Maybe coyotes howling at evening in the creek. You may be kept awake by the sound of wind in the trees or song birds. Sunrise will come and be noticed much earlier when living outdoors. We try to do our best to prevent unfavorable conditions and have implemented many extra measures to ensure you a wonderful stay This is just our disclaimer, so you have been fair warned. :-) This is a Family-friendly venue. DO NOT mistake it for a party place. Loud music will not be tolerated after 11:00, or earlier if other guests are on site. Strict adherence to rules must be followed or guests will be asked to leave without any consideration for refund. Directions: From Hawkins, North on Hwy 14 to CR 2869, to CR 3540, to CR 3543. Follow signs to 110 PR 7543. Do not rely on Google Maps

Our wonderful listing at Music Springs is The Schoolhouse! Created like an old, tiny one room schoolhouse, this space is cozy, romantic and perfect for a couple wanting to get away for a night, a weekend or a week! The Schoolhouse is tiny and packed with so much charm. It has the most wonderfully, comfortable queen size memory foam mattress on a bed that is tucked away in a little alcove. It also has a sweet little sitting area for having that morning coffee or watching  tv.You might want to have that morning coffee outside, sitting under the pines or on the covered front porch. You also have your  own fire pit & charcoal grill in your private school yardSituated on our  farm in the piney woods of East Texas, The Schoolhouse rests on the edge of Music Springs camp area, giving guests access to our big outdoor kitchen, restroom and shower facilities. All linens, pillows, towels, and shower supplies are provided.. Cold AC and good warm heat! This is WAY above camping, even though you are in the woods. Staying at The Schoolhouse is glamping at it's finest.

Spirit Warrior tipi has a queen size bed for 2. chairs for watching tv, mini-fridge and Keurig coffee maker.There is an outdoor kitchen, bathrooms and shower. Cold AC and good, warm heat. A grill is located near tipi. The Tipi is air conditioned and/or heated. If you are the adventurous type that loves the outdoors and camping but does not have all the know how or equipment to do so, come to East Texas and rest your soul at the peaceful grounds of Music Springs. Encountering the peace by staying at our camp grounds is unique, like no other place. This will mean closer encounters with the weather and with sounds of wildlife. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved Vicki and Mikes property! Everything was perfect, they were very quick to respond to anything we needed and Mike came down and gave us a quick tour of the amenities offered around the campground. We tent camped under the beautiful Pines but they also offer a really cute School House, a very neat Teepee, or a spacious Julias Cottage that you can reserve. The restrooms were clean and the decor was the coolest. The outdoor shower house was the best, with hot and cold water available and shampoos and conditioners available makes packing a little lighter. The campground was extremely clean and well maintained and the strung lights through the trees was a wonderful addition. We enjoyed the peace and quiet this campground offered and we are already planning another trip there very soon. Highly recommend. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Spirit Warrior Tipi-peacerful
We have been here a few times tent camping back in 2020 and we moved away from the area, now we are closer again and plan on spending more time here. We were here for a quick stay for our wedding anniversary and stayed in the Tipi. It was fantastic and the host set us up a snack tray with drinks for the occasion. You can't go wrong staying here in Music Springs.

The Schoolhouse @ Music Springs
This place is minimalist and exactly what we needed for a good value. Cute & cozy inside with good AC in the summer. The bathroom/showers are outside but easy to get to - just walk across a nicely tended grassy field. There's no sink inside, but there's a common "kitchen" area with microwave and big fridge/freezer. There is a grill & campfire, but I decided to use my own camp stove. We enjoyed the outside games like tetherball, frisbee, and a first attempt at disc golf. We enjoyed the prayer path trail as well. The host was responsive to questions & feedback.

Such a cozy place to stay, was on my first solo trip and I felt SO safe and the host were the sweetest. They also had a nice heated bathroom to get ready in and a good outdoor kitchen space, great if you van camp!

We loved our couple of days at the schoolhouse. It rained one of the 2 days out there, but we had the place all to ourselves since we were there the two days after Christmas.

We loved tent camping in Music Springs. The way the sunlight pours through the pines was so lovely. The space is kept beautifully and extra special with the bulb lights and well maintained grassy area. The hosts are so kind and accommodating. The bathrooms even have a little heater inside. Overall a peaceful little getaway for our family and we highly recommend this spot. Thanks!

It is a sweet nature spot and the bathroom & enclosed outdoor shower are probably the nicest (and cleanest) I’ve ever experienced at a campsite. I was arriving later than I expected after a long day of driving and Vicki was able to help me navigate getting to my site and where things were located. You are around other campers but it was a peaceful environment and stay while surrounded by trees in the outdoors. Pro tip , maintain movement with your car when driving in on the sand parts of the road.

This was an amazing experience. Mike and Vicki were both very nice. Mike greeted us and showed us the beautiful and peaceful property. The property is well maintained. We were there for the eclipse and they opened up the pasture so we would have a great view. I would 100% recommend.

Our camping trip at Music Springs was great. They had everything we needed and checked on us once we arrived. Enjoyed a campfire that night. Only issue was the driveway road in and out of the property was difficult in a car with all the sand.

Sweet Little Hippie Chick RV
Camping at hippie chick was very peaceful. The site was nicely shaded and close to the bathrooms as well. Which were very clean and had hot water. Vicki and Mike were wonderful hosts who gave great hospitality. Would come visit again.

Hosts welcomed me upon arrival. It is a quiet and clean camping spot. Close to 3 parks for mountain biking : Lindsey Park, Faulkner Park and Tyler State Park. Will definitely return when back in the area!

I love the quiet and peaceful settings of the Music Springs camp. Julia's cottage is just right for my wife and I for a getaway. Just a short trip to Tyler State Park where the orienteering and biking events are held.

It's our first hipcamp experience and it's amazing. Mike showed us around on arrival. There are clean restrooms, and even a shower. The campground looks even more stunning than in the pictures. I will for sure come back.

The Schoolhouse @ Music Springs
Loved the comfort and ease of this space! It was the perfect mix of having a quaint structure to stay cozy and warm while being able to cook over the campfire and enjoy the quiet of nature all around. Hosts were friendly and attentive to any needs. Definitely would love to return at some point!

Julia's Cottage
Very clean and cozy cottage with all the amenities you could want: flush toilet, hot shower, fully equipped kitchen with 4-burner electric stove and oven, TV, WiFi, etc. Located in a quiet spot on the beautiful Music Springs retreat camp. It was great to take a break from primitive camping and enjoy some creature comforts.

Vicki and her family were very welcoming. Campsite was very clean with nice facilities, electric, disc golf baskets and access to outdoor kitchen. We camped in November appreciated that the restrooms each had space heaters and hot water. Our hosts saved our trip when we realized we forgot a critical piece of camping gear at home. Love that we can camp and invite non-camping friends to book one of the cabins nearby. We look forward to coming back!
