Our property is 5 very secluded acres with just two accommodations within a 1700-acre former hunting ranch turned exotic wildlife sanctuary and dispersed community. The Satao and The Hideout are available. The two are about 450ft apart and not within sight of one another.

Our insulated, heated, and air-conditioned permanent luxury tent is more akin to a cabin than a mere tent. Raised 6 feet above the ground on a stunning 26'x48' deck, it offers serene views and a sense of both comfort and safety. You will ll truly appreciate this haven when the coyotes howl in the valley or the red stags roar in October and November.

Private ranch access to the Lampasas River with picnic pavilions. Secluded and peaceful, with no public roads nearby. Encounter up to 18 different species of free-roaming exotic wildlife. The animals are free-roaming and wild. You will probably see something interesting but there is no guarantee. Enjoy activities like fly fishing, kayaking, limited hiking, and bird and wildlife watching.
Please note that the Satao suite is nestled in a secluded valley, approximately 3.5 miles from the private riverfront. You need not leave the ranch to enjoy the pristine river access, creating incredible opportunities to embrace the ranch's beauty and wildlife.

One last thing, the only "chore" that we ask of our guests is to take the trash out of the tent and deposit it in the bin on your way out and that's only to help prevent critters from trying to get in! There's none of that long chore list stuff - you're here to relax, not work. :-)
You'll enjoy private access to the Lampasas River, located within the ranch, approximately 3.5 miles away at the ranch's 5-acre river park. You won't need to venture beyond the ranch, and this access is shared with fellow ranch owners and guests. Expect a serene and uncrowded experience, unlike public access parks.
Some notable species include Nilgai, Blackbuck (Indian Antelope), Hiberdean sheep, Spanish sheep, Audad, Red deer, Scimitar Oryx, Gemsbock, Fallow deer, and Sika deer. In addition to these, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, and more call this place home. Dogs are welcome but they must be well-behaved and not chase the animals.
