You will be surrounded by native desert landscape—creosote bush, sandy terrain, and big West Texas skies that deliver unforgettable sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing. This is a simple, private basecamp ideal for tent camping, car camping, or van-life travelers looking to explore Hueco Tanks or hike straight from the property into nearby arroyos and open desert. With neighbors over a quarter mile away, you will experience true solitude with no crowds, no noise, and only the sound of the desert and the stars overhead. You will love being just minutes from the state park with the historic trail running right through the property. As our only guests, you will enjoy big skies, epic sunsets, and direct access to miles of desert exploration in a peaceful environment. Please keep in mind that this is off-grid, dry camping with no water or hookups available. There is currently no bathroom on-site, though a porta-potty is coming soon. There is no natural shade, so please come prepared for desert conditions. Access is easy via a short dirt road that is suitable for cars and vans. A fire pit is available for your use, but fires must be self-contained and you must bring your own wood. We ask that you do not collect or burn any natural materials found on the property. To maintain the tranquility of the area, we do not allow loud music or parties. We follow a "pack it in, pack it out" policy, though trash service is available for a 5 dollar fee. This land is being developed to give people a place to step away from the city, slow down, and reconnect with nature.
