We loved staying here. The Tree House was really cool. The top deck was perfect for stargazing. Directions to get there were very clear. It was secluded and peaceful and just what we were looking for.

Eco Friendly Cabin Retreat
Very relaxing and peaceful stay! It was a nice change from the bustling cities of Austin and San Antonio. My family was able to reconnect without electronics for an evening. Beautiful view amidst the rain.

Airstream Glamping Private Spot
We loved ringing in the new year at Marlena’s space. Every single detail was accounted for, from the hammocks to the fire circle to the cozy outdoor kitchen, right down to the complimentary eggs from their chickens.
We brought our 7 year olds along, who rated their experience a 10/10. Our pups would have rated it the same!
We cannot wait to plan our return.

Wonderful place. Lots of little touches that make it comfortable. It was rainy: two giant umbrellas. We tracked some dirt in: little brooms to clean up. We wanted some hot tea to warm up: a collection of every HEB flavor. The bed was super comfortable and we stayed cozy at 44F using the gas heater and leaving the windows open.
Oh and the showers were hot.

such a lovely spot in the hill country! the cabin was very cozy and comfortable for my family of 4. it’s situated perfectly to watch the sun rise and set and see the stars at night. marlena was also a wonderful host and very responsive.
we also loved paying the hens a visit!

We had the most phenomenal stay at this camping spot. It’s the perfect balance of “roughing it” while still enjoying comforts like hot water and minimal electricity. The Airstream was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the hosts’ attention to detail and communication were incredible.
The location was wonderfully secluded, providing a peaceful sanctuary to disconnect from life and reconnect with ourselves. We were lucky to visit during a full moon, which made our nighttime walks magical—no flashlights needed! The weather was perfect for nightly fires, and we absolutely loved lounging in the hammocks, reading, napping, and soaking in the sounds of nature.
It’s clear the couple who created this space poured so much love and care into curating a little piece of healing heaven. We left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and deeply grateful for our time there. We can’t wait to return and share this special place with friends.

Beautiful property and so carefully designed. I enjoyed swinging in the hammocks, grilling under the string lights, and observing nature on the trail loop. Bonus-a roadrunner greeted us at the driveway.

This place is perfect. We stayed in the airstream and can confirm that pictures do not do it justice!
So secluded it’s hard to even tell there are other properties on this land.
But I would rent those other units in a heartbeat.
The mile long driveway is very rocky and narrow so be prepared.

This was such a lovely getaway. I definitely want to come back in the Winter (we came in Summer!). The sustainable living was so inspiring, humbling and fun to experience. Just watch out for wild Texas critters— especially at night! The rental had everything we needed and a bit more. Thank you Marlena!

Such rejuvenation from a one night stay. Fresh eggs and coffee for breakfast were a plus. And they really put attention to detail in setting up the place. I really enjoyed myself and look forward to returning.

This was our second visit, the first time we stayed in the Airstream. I loved every minute of the peace and quiet. Great bird and nature watching. The cabin was very comfy and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and I loved the line dried towels. We will be coming back again for a treehouse adventure. Thank you!

Marlena and Eugene were excellent hosts. We had a great time chatting with them and hanging out. Their land is beautiful and has several trails with signs and markers, so you won't get lost. Definitely check out the ancient oak tree. We've never seen a tree with branches like that.
They had an area set aside for tent camping for the solar eclipse. The spots were laid out nicely and had plenty of room. String lights between the trees added a nice ambience. There is a covered area with outlet strips to charge devices. The shared kitchen has plenty of room and all the utensils and pots and pans needed to make meals. Plenty of fridge space as well. Bathrooms and showers are nice and clean, better than any campsite we've been to and nicer than a lot of hotels even.
For the eclipse, I was able to set up my telescope on the east side of the campground in a nice clearing. At night you have a great view of the stars.
It was also nice seeing/interacting the cats they have around and their chickens!
We definitely will visit again and highly recommend them!

Hill Country Camping
We had a great time. Beautiful facility. The tent camping had plenty of shade. Our hosts were graciously helpful and there were lots of nice amenities, especially the kitchen and rest rooms.

The views are incredible!! We had everything we needed and the Treehouse craftsmanship is outstanding! It was exactly as described, cleaned very well, and a great bed with nice linens to relax in at the end of our day! We hiked the nature trail loop multiple times a day it was so much fun!

The place is very well put together, clean, and cute. The area surrounding the treehouse is beautiful and private. There are many well thought out extra touches that will make this stay better than your average place.

We had a wonderful time staying at the airstream! It has everything you could think of. The bed was so comfy. You can set up and just hang out for days. Kitchen was well stocked and set up great. Bring charcoal and wood if you want a fire and to cook on the grill. We were a bit chilly going to the shower at night but the airstream stayed warm and toasty. We will be back!

No complaints, Marlena’s place is very beautiful, quiet, private and well stocked with necessities for a very stress free experience. The kitchen separate from the airstream is great, has everything you need. The whole place is just very well done aesthetically and practically. This was my second visit and I’ll definitely be back. My boyfriend and I had the best experience ever! I have never been camping so I was very nervous. The airstream was so cute and exactly how it was advertised. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. The space itself was very calm and cozy! Wish we could have stayed longer unfortunately we couldn’t but we will definitely visit again.

My husband and I loved our honeymoon stay at Marlena's treehouse retreat! There was so much attention to the aesthetic, it truly felt like a treehouse! From the amenities and comfort, to the view at every corner of this magical place, we felt like we were in a dream. The rain didn't stop us from having a great stay, we were able to enjoy it sitting in the screen porch and through the window-filled bedroom. When the weather cleared up in the morning, we had some coffee with a gorgeous view on the rooftop. Please treat yourself to this incredible retreat! Directions were great and Marlena was super responsive.
