Harmony Haven Camping

· Bruceville, Mc Lennan, Texas
Hosted by Dee Linda K.
A holdout from the dividing, subdividing, paving over grasses and wildflowers, this 17 acres is a rare find for a place for a peaceful retreat from noisy and rude crowds and rush, rush, rush to be somewhere else traffic...but still convenient to some of the areas most popular attractions. MAGNOLIA EVERYTHING, Baylor University, Dallas and Austin, Texas are 20 minutes to 2 hours away. Here, we just want to keep it simple, keep it quiet, and keep it in harmony.

Harmony Haven Camping
Harmony haven could not be more aptly named; it was the perfect weekend getaway! The campsite is a well maintained setup overlooking the private lake, with a nice level area to pitch a tent or park an RV. It's surrounded by big shady trees that kept the temperature cool and comfortable even in the hot Texas springtime. There is plenty to explore along the property and the sunsets and sunrises are jaw dropping. The lake is teeming with fish and would be a fisherman's paradise, although even without fishing poles we spent plenty of time looking into the crystal water to watch all the fish swimming by. We watched the sun set over the water while roasting marshmallows over the campfire and fell asleep to the soft sound of the frogs croaking and birds chirping. It was so hard to believe that this amazing peaceful place was so conveniently close to the main freeway! Dee Linda was a fantastic host, as were her two beautiful dogs. We had such a fantastic time staying out at Harmony haven and will definitely be back!
