A 10 Acre Family Homestead. We grow food to feed our family here. While doing that we have developed a lovely farm to host on. Freedom Harvest Farms is a sanctuary for wellness and healing. Life, diversity and resources are respected here. This is a place of learning and teaching a constant interaction with vitality. On property there are humans, dogs, pigs, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits and a diverse parade of wildlife, plants and insects! Several large gardens, a pond, picnic tables, outdoor bathroom, kitchen, tv, fireplace, fire pits

Site 1 - Mesquite Shaded Afternoon

You will have to park your car about 30 yards away from this site and walk up to it. This little Mesquite tree shaded corner of my backyard on the farm. In this space is access to a covered porch, a picnic table, fire pit and water. You will be walking distance from a nice sized bathroom with a toilet connected to the septic system, a sink and air conditioning. You would also be a short walk away from a non conditioned pavilion area with a couch, and a full kitchen with refrigerator. This is a communal space. What you will see on the farm is small vineyard, and a small orchard, a pasture with a stock pond, trees and gardens. The back pasture is not open to guests because we have longhorn steers and pigs that live there. We also have chickens, ducks and dogs. You are about 25 minutes from Rockport one way and 25 minutes from Downtown Corpus Christi the other. You are 45 minutes from Port Aransas beaches one way and 45 minutes from Padre Island the other way. 15 to 20 minute access to places to paddleboard and kayak and any other number of watersports.

This site is just is nestled between the pavilion and my screened porch on the east side of my house. There is a nice little mesquite tree garden where birds like to perch very near the area. There are also always a couple of nice lawn chairs. You will be walking distance from a nice sized bathroom with a toilet connected to the septic system, a sink and air conditioning. You would also be a short walk away from a non conditioned pavilion area with a couch and a full kitchen with a refrigerator. This is a communal space. What you will see on the farm is small vineyard, and a small orchard, a pasture with a stock pond, trees and gardens. The back pasture is not open to guests because we have longhorn steers and pigs that live there. We also have chickens, ducks and dogs. This is a spot you can pull your car right up to your tent. This little protected spot is perfect for sunrise and you will very likely get to meet the pasture pets as it nestled between a garage and the pasture fence near a double gate to my backyard. You will be walking distance from a nice sized bathroom with a toilet connected to the septic system, a sink and air conditioning. You would also be a short walk away from a non conditioned pavilion area with a couch, and a full kitchen with a refrigerator. This is a communal space. Site 3 - Sunset in the Vineyard

The perfect stop on my road trip! Aislynn’s farm was very peaceful and still convenient to Corpus Christi and Padre Island. The outhouse bathroom was very nice and it was amazing to be able to cook in the pavilion. Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at the farm! Aislynn was so welcoming. The eggs were delicious. Having such a nice bathroom (though without a shower) and pavilion for cooking was a luxury! It was the perfect landing place for us to get to Corpus Christi and Rockport as well. The site wasn’t very private, but we weren’t bothered at all. Will definitely stay again!

A South Texas homestead gem

Site 2 - Longhorn Friendly Backyard

This South Texas spot was a hidden gem. We pitched on a lovely homestead under a beautiful tree with longhorns and pot belly pigs as our neighbors. The host, Aislynn was welcoming and full of knowledge and we enjoyed getting to know her. I definitely recommend this spot for all hipcampers.

Site 2 - Longhorn Friendly Backyard

This hidden gem should not be missed! Camped under a beautiful tree with easy access to electricity, water and outhouse. Great experience on homestead with incredible host, longhorns, pigs, chickens and beautiful vegetable gardens. We were close to stores and restaurants if needed and extended trip because we didn’t want to leave. If we could we’d stay even longer! Thank you Aislynn for an amazing experience we will never forget.

What a beautiful and unique spot to camp! I would love to host a gathering here if I didn’t live so far away! Aislynn was super welcoming and very informative about her gardens, animals, organic farming etc. we had an amazing site with gorgeous sunsets and the facilities were beautifully decorated and available to us. I would highly recommend spending time here!!!

This site was awesome. The host was as well very quick to answer your texts. The scenery was great. Longhorns kicked butt. The sites are very cute and quaint. I feel like anybody who gives this campsite. A try will not be let down there’s an awesome pavilion and an outhouse furnished with AC. What could you ask for?

Loved hipcamping at Aislynn’s beautiful farm/vineyard! I needed a place to camp and work for the week and this place hit the mark. Our favorite part was watching the amazing long horns stroll by for their feeding every day. Aislynn really has a great setup going and you will not be disappointed.

Aislynn was lovely. I really appreciated the calm welcoming environment. The farm was great place to spend the night. Excellent kitchen, dinning room, fireplace and bathroom. If your in a tent make sure to bring earplugs, the wind turbines can be loud at night. I liked seeing the farm animals.

I had a nice tent site by the vineyard. I was able to see the 2 longhorn cattle and great egrets and ducks by the tank. I had access to an outdoor screened in kitchen and a bathroom. I would recommend anyone who need to setup a tent to stay at this lovely farm. The host Aislynn was wonderful and very accommodating.

Very quiet camp out. Aislynn gave me several options for campsites and was very nice. The bathroom facilities were great. Looked new and clean. Only 25 minutes from Corpus Cristi.
