Overall we had a great time! The stars are gorgeous out there, and although the driving trail looked a little sketchy, it was surprisingly even ground and posed no problem for even our smallest car! Definitely would go again!

Lost track of how many times we have stayed in the last three years (I think at least our fifth), but far and away our favorite place. Easy and straight forward directions from the highway (about 10 minutes off the highway) and well worth it for the peace, quiet, isolation, wide-open vistas, and dark skies for viewing the stars. Always welcoming and responsive. Thanks again for hosting us Amy.

Pretty much exactly as advertised. Camping in an open field. Nice for the dogs (although my gremlin of a dog did role in cow shit). 😤😂 you can hear traffic from the highway, but it’s easy to find.

Easy to find, great spot for dogs to run around, especially if no one else happens to be there. Very quiet. Overpriced with no hookups, but a great spot.

Provided firewood and water to put out. Perfect stop for the night. When she says the entrance is on the corner between the two roads, it’s literally on the 90 degree angle.

Third time camping on Amie’s land. Was as peaceful as always with a sky filled with stars. If you like peace and quiet and dark skies when the moon is just a sliver look no further. Amie was as gracious and responsive as always, particularly considering we had to cancel last two scheduled stays due to weather and unexpected RV breakdown, we were looking forward to our return. A little bit off the highway, but directions are straightforward and well worth the extra few minutes so find the solitude you will experience.

Amazing time out here. Very private and the tent was set up perfectly including a propane heater at night. Me and my girlfriend felt so at peace here. The stars are also incredible with very little light pollution. 10/10 would recommend.

Host communicated In a timely manner and was responsive to my questions as well as with directions and logistics after booking. Campsite was mowed and flat for my camper van. It was a comfortable site with places to sit and enjoy the sunset. Also very convenient to the main road.

This was a great place to pitch a tent, complete with an outhouse, picnic table, and plenty of water left by the host. Amie was responsive and easy to communicate with, and I felt very safe on her land. Would definitely stay again!

More than expected. Aime was very helpful with a last minute booking. Nice sunset and campsite one had plenty of space for the pups and kiddo to stretch their legs. Hammock was nice touch.

We loved our stay at Amies glamping tent. The stars were absolutely stunning. Amie had everything so cozy for us and had all kinds of snacks, firewood, extra blankets and even games for us. The spot is so cute! It was a chilly night and they had a heater for us. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to spend the night. We got in late and still had fun in the dark! Lots to do during the day as well and it was very clean. There was nothing around it was extremely peaceful but also very easy to find, once again even in the dark. We highly recommend!

The campsite was lovely! There was some wood left for us for the first night and a small propane heater inside the tent since we went while it was very cold. Sunrise and sunset views were beautiful!

The Blank Canvas Campground experience was great. Amie was responsive to our reservation and communicated frequently during the lead up to our stay. We also purchased a dozen of her farm-fresh eggs. There were plenty of amenities, to include firewood, a hammock, BBQ, picnic tables and chairs. Our 22' travel trailer fit comfortably and, as we were the only patrons that night, we did not disconnect and partially blocked the lane through the property.

Third stay and still love the quiet and isolation. Amie continues to do a great job at providing a comfortable spot that is well kept. Looking forward to stopping again on our next trip in the spring.

This space is nothing short of amazing! My partner and I visited Texas from Toronto Ontario Canada and stayed here for two nights. We had no idea what to expect - this place exceeded expectations. Amie had thought of everything - which was great cause we underpacked! The solar shower area was perfect, the toiletries bag was lovely, the snacks and treats she left for us was awesome, the bed was very comfortable, and the yurt itself was like a little living room for us to hang out in when we wanted to. Outside was stunning! Wild sunflowers and amazing sunsets/rises, and cows coming to say hi at the fence really set this trip apart. We will definitely be back Without a doubt!

Second stay at FMF Blank Canvas (first was late Oct ‘22). Aside from the landscape being much more verdant, as would expect for spring, the peace and solitude were again a welcome respite from a long day on the road and open space for furkids to run and stretch their legs, and stars on bright display. Amy was as attentive as always and appreciated the fresh water. So if passing through, definitely worth a stop as this will be a regular one for us.

Amie was quick to answer our requests and very friendly. Really peaceful spot and the coyotes singing at night were great. Great quick stop to spend the night on our way home. Dogs loved it!

I loved my stay at this wonderful glamour experience. Everything was easy to find and the hosts stocked the tent and area with everything I needed from fire starters, water, snacks, and. A heater. I sleep better in this space than I had in all my last airbnbs. The views were great and the stars were bright. Thank you all so much!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderfully isolated oasis. 30 acres to stretch hooman and dog legs after long day in RV. Did I mention QUIETUDE. Great place to stay, host was readily available and responsive, and attentive to our needs, which we really had none aside from a bit more specifics on directions, but understandable to keep signage to minimum. Even the other site was not visible, had there been another occupant, which altogether made for perfect place to stay with one very anxiously reactive dog, and one very physically active dog. Will hope to be making this a regular stopover on our annual journey.

Amie was the perfect hostess! She made us a fabulous treat basket for our arrival. The campsite was clean and quiet. The only thing that could have been better would be a more noticeable entrance to her land, but we completely understood the need for non- commercial signage. That’s the beauty of HipCamp!!
A plus of staying at Amie’s place are the warm welcome of her neighboring cows.
We loved it there, and highly recommend ya’ll giving it a stay.
