Flying L Ranch
The owners were so helpful in offering to bring us equipment or anything else we might need. The site was primitive, no water hookups or toilets within 15 minutes walk.
They were eager to answer questions we and our kids had about living on so much land. In general, it felt very quiet and secluded, but it was great to know the owners house was close by, and they continually offered help if we needed something. Because it's an active ranch, they showed our kids their baby goats and chicks! It was a beautiful property.
The bathroom is in the barn (not near the camp site). There is flexibility to choose where you camp, but know that there is wildlife, potential for snakes, and even poison ivy (make sure you know what you're getting into). We would definitely stay there again!
