We have long envisioned a property for community building and workshops, farming, permaculture and hosting events. We host events throughout the year, and look forward to hosting campers. This beautiful property is 22 acres of Blackland Prarie in the North Texas countryside, 5 minutes from Lake Lavon. There are several lake entrances nearby.We have many areas that are perfect for camping around the pond in shady groves and it is well forested and offers privacy for Fishing, and small group hangouts or family/group retreats. There is a nice big smoker pit near the dock and seating area, as well as a dock over the pond for sitting over the water enjoying nature. Great for wildlife and bird watching, we have grey herons, ducks, hawks, vultures, ravens, cardinals, blue jays and many other birds that visit our property. There are crawfish near the pond, and turtles. *Fishing allowed. We are only a few minutes from Lake Lavon if you would like to spend time fishing at the lake or rent a boat or ski jet for even more fun and have base camp setup here. We are a farm as well so you can walk around and see sheep, chickens and turkeys.
