Needed a spot to tent camp overnight while driving through Texas. As two young (ish) women we were drawn to this listing as every review mentioned how warm, welcoming, and helpful Michelle is- they’re all true! We were also lucky to catch a beautiful sunset walk along the property before a peaceful night’s sleep.

Michelle and James were very friendly and answered our many questions. We loved the scenery and have beautiful pictures of the sunset and sunrise. It was wonderful to explore the property. We felt very safe and comfortable at this location. It was a bonus that we had electricity since it was quite cold

Michelle and her husband gave us a warm greeting, and then they gave us privacy. That was a gift after a day of driving. They have a lovely property, and their two dogs are sweet. We were traveling with a dog, and their pups did not come back to bother us after Michelle took them up to her house. The night sky was amazing! There is a coded fence gate that keeps this property extra safe. No alcohol allowed, which didn’t bother us because we were ready for bed. It was a relief that there is also a “no guns” policy. A little pricey for Hipcamp, but the privacy was worth it. We’d go back!
