This place is the BEST!! We needed a night away from Dallas, and this was perfect! Clean, great AC even though we woke up to 55 degrees outside and a little chilly! The shower is AWESOME!! Definitely coming back!!

We had a great time in the chuck wagon. Much more spacious than thought and fit myself, my husband, and our two dogs wonderfully. The bath house was also incredibly clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it rained so we could use the fire pit but we had a great time and would most definitely stay again. We did have one Yellowjacket visitor but were able to get it back outside quickly.

We stayed in the yurt. The view was amazing! It was very cold out but the yurt had a nice heater. Bed was comfortable and it came with wifi. Not very far from the parks and restaurants. Id definitely go back.
Hearing the coyotes howling was also really good.

We loved our stay! The wagon is very nice and has essentials for a great glamping experience! We really liked having the private bathhouse. Location is close to restaurant, grocery stores, and state park. The outside areas could use some sprucing up but, still overall a great experience!

Each yurt had it own secluded area. There was plenty of firewook available. It was well maintained. It was easy to get to.

Yurt #1 was beautiful and clean. Quite on the tip of nature with an easy drive into town. I highly recommend staying at Jason's Yurts.

Great place to spend a couple nights. Proximity to restaurants and other activities was perfect. Came home with some fossils we found at the fossil park.

Very cool site! King bed was very comfortable, nice little kitchen with microwave and mini fridge, and really cool table. Brand new fire pit that was the perfect size. It was very unreal to sleep in a covered wagon, but very cool. I couldn’t help but watch an episode of little House on the prairie.

The wagon is bigger and better then they photos show, the bed is so comfy, the kitchenette is adorable, everything is so well thought out - outlets & charging ports on the nightstand. The location itself is just beautiful & so scenic. The heater worked perfectly on the cold night we stayed. The only issues we had were yellow jackets taking warm refuge in the wagon, hot water in the shower ran out after 10 minutes & the stairs are a bit steep. We loved it and will be back!

Jason was a great host and we enjoyed our stay in Yurt 1. The yurt and the property were clean and well maintained. Whenever we needed to get in contact with Jason, he was very prompt with his responses, helping us ease in to our stay.

Really enjoyed my stay at Cross Timbers. Relaxing and quiet. The yurt was all that I wanted, clean, very cozy and fun inside with a great deck complete with a rocking chair to sit and enjoy a good book and the great outdoors.

Loved this stay so much! Everything was clean, it was quiet, the yurts were spaced well to allow privacy, the bed comfy. Close to town and the state park but tucked away and private. Beautiful decor and attention to detail. The host was friendly and responsive. Would love to stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying in the Conestoga Wagon at Cross Timbers Glamping and I must say, it was a delightful experience.
First and foremost, the amenities provided were exceptional. The bathhouse was immaculate, offering clean and spacious facilities that made me feel right at home. It's always a relief to find a well-maintained bathhouse at a campground, and this one exceeded my expectations. Fresh towels were waiting when we arrived!
The large deck outside the Conestoga wagon was a fantastic addition. It provided a perfect spot to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed spending the evening listening to the sounds of nature and taking in the beautiful views surrounding the campground.
The picnic tables and bistro tables scattered around the deck were a thoughtful touch. They offered plenty of space for outdoor dining, whether it was a picnic lunch or a cozy dinner under the stars. It was wonderful to have various seating options available to suit different preferences.
We also had the opportunity to visit downtown Mineral Wells which is just an absolutely charming little town.
I cannot recommend the Cross Timbers Glamping experience enough. With its fantastic amenities it offers everything you could ask for in a glamping getaway. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or simply a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this campground has it all. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Such an amazing experience. The Yurt looks so much more cozy and beautiful in person. Brought my girlfriend for her birthday and we were so happy with everything. Thank you for this hidden gem. We will be back!

We enjoyed the stay very much. We wanted to see and hear rain through the skylight on the roof; we did. We wanted to meet the Sun early in the morning, it was incredible! We wanted to escape the busy life for one day, and we succeeded :)
Yurt was cozy, well-thought, unexpectedly comfortable, and despite all the "Glamping features," it felt like camping outdoors with all the delightful sounds of nature. Especially a chorus of local Coyoties :D
This place is very close to the State Park, with we loved to visit. Local restrant was top-notch!
All ower wonderful experience that we will remember.
And last but not least: Jason is great! Made everything possible so our stay was 10 out of 10!

Paradise in Texas! The views were incredible (especially at sunrise), the yurt was so well thought out with everything you could need for a weekend getaway. It felt like a movie - waking up to the birds singing and the wind through the trees. It was secluded enough for privacy, but also close enough to town to enjoy Mineral Wells. We will absolutely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous spot! Quiet and secluded with a great view, but still all the comforts of glamping! We loved the yurt. It even poured rain while we were there and it was lovely to listen to from our cozy room.
