Andrea's Riverhaus
While this is technically right on the river, you still have to take a bit of a hike to actually get in the water. We came for early July so we did see several snakes on this hike.
Also the grass in the backyard was quite high and though someone did come to cut it, we were never notified. Andrea was also a little difficult to get a hold of, but was extremely helpful when we did speak.
At the end of the day it was a cute little place for a nice county get away, would recommend for quiet stay!

The pictures don’t really do it justice. The house is a perfect get away spot and has a beautiful view over the river.

Access to water was nice. Kitchen and cookware needed upgrades. Andrea was friendly and quick with communication.

We had a great time at the riverhaus.we spent the day in the river at palmetto and then we came back and spent some more time in the private river access . My daughter had an absolute blast . The house was well kept and clean . We would most definitely come back .

This is the cutest little cottage located in a convenient spot between San Antonio and Austin, not too far from New Braunfels. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a sleeper couch, there is plenty of room for an entire family or a group of friends. There is a huge backyard that leads down to the river, with several hiking trails. Full kitchen with a big refrigerator and freezer, so cooking meals is an option. Enjoyed our stay!

This was a nice quite get away. We took the grandkids and they had a good time. We were able to walk down to the river and go swimming and fishing. We built a camp fire at night, and there were plenty of stars. The beds were comfortable, there was a nice kitchen for preparing meals.
