Horned Hideaway
Gorgeous camp site!
Camping on Michelle and Chad's property was an excellent experience. After a day of climbing at Enchanted Rock, we booked a night at the Hideaway campsite. As it was getting dark on our arrival, Chad even greeted us at the gate and directed us to our site. Which was very helpful and thoughtful! The site was quiet, clean, and had beautiful views. We were even greeted by friendly longhorn cattle the next morning. What a treat! I would definitely recommend this site, and will be coming back.

Round the Old Oak Tree w/ RV Hookup
Fun camping!
Lovely property. I stayed with my small RV in a water and electric site. No issues at all and the longhorns were fun to have around when they wondered into camp. I kept my little dog leashed so she wouldn't get too close. I may try a site without hookups next time. I walked the property and there are some great sites. Enchanted Rock 20 min away for hiking.

Tucked Away & Perfect!
We wanted an impromptu camping trip to get out of Austin for a weekend and Brown Chicken Brown Cow checked all the boxes! Michelle was responsive to any and all questions that I had as I booked the same day by providing coordinates that I could easily copy and paste into my Apple Maps app. Their hospitality and kindness is unmatched as they came to meet us on the first night when we were getting settled and made sure that we knew they were there if we needed anything. The property is even better! We ended up staying at the Tucked Away camp because there was the availability and it was PERFECT. Secluded and private, but open and flat for us to make our set up feel so comfy and cozy! We walked around to see other sites as well and I still think the Tucked Away site is my favorite. Even “Lil Johnny” was so nice, clean, and smelled better than any I’ve used. We got in at night and once we realized where we were, it was so easy to get in and get to our site! All in all, a fantastic much needed weekend and so thankful to have found Brown Chicken Brown Cow. We’ll be back without a doubt and we cannot wait!!

Hilltop (4WD Required)
We enjoyed our stay on the ranch! The longhorns didn’t visit us on the hilltop site but we did see them when we arrived. It’s like they’re the welcome crew and then leave you alone, adorable. We lucked out and were there after some good rain so the site was lush with a bunch of different plants. It was fun to explore and the pics were great! We also went into Llano and Enchanted Rock. We enjoyed how there wasn’t much civilization on the drive to enchanted rock so if we wanted to we could keep those secluded vibes going. But also the site is only about 8 min from downtown Llano so perfect for last min store runs. Host gave us all the info we needed and everything was smooth!

Favorite Spot (RV Hook-ups avail)
Great star gazing spot!
Just the escape from reality that my family needed! Beautiful space to explore. We hiked around the entire property multiple times! My kids were scared of the longhorns at first, but grew more comfortable. My son even got to pet one on the nose! Lots of pricklys, so they got to learn cactus safety. The *star* of the show was the night sky. Absolutely amazing! Overall full of wonderful adventures and memories!

Space on the Hill
We came back for round 2!
Got to experience bcbc once more! Michelle has been very accommodating and easy to come communicate. Got the campsite on top of the hill and it's definitely recommended to anyone's first time. 20 minute drive to enchanted rock was a game changer, since E rock's campsites are always booked weeks in advance.
