Me and wife enjoyed staying in here, great views and Darren was a great host we wish him the best with hsi business.
The only cons we encountered is that you are 10 minutes from civilization and what comes with it, sirens, cars, etc
And ROOSTER lots of them, get ready to be woken up haha, other than that great place

Peaceful spot at the top of a hill. Great for Sunset views and a quiet night. Our dogs were safe and comfortable off leash. The solo stove and clean port-o-potty were very much appreciated. Our host was friendly and responded quickly. We would stay there again.

Best View Campsites
Darren's land was ideal for us. It was very quiet and pretty. Nothing fancy, just a picnic table, metal fire pit and a very clean porta-potty. It was also close to Balcones National Wildlife Refuge which is the reason we were in this area. The ground is very lumpy, so not a good option for tent campers. As we have a truck pop-up camper, that wasn't an issue for us. We would definitely stay here again.

The site we had was spacious and the view was amazing! The site felt remote and deep in nature and the site is easily accessible.The host was very accommodating and even let us borrow his solo stove so we could have a fire in windy conditions. Picnic table, portapotty, and trash can were also available on site for convenience.
